Gorilla Expense vs Motus: Which is a better fit?

Gorilla is a great system for balancing receipts with expenses. The reporting is very good and really helped to make sure I was budgeting correctly.

You have to create a test or fake expense in order to see what your remaining balance is.

I like that you can use your camera to take pictures of receipts and add them to your expenses. It is also nice that Gorilla can calculate the mileage for trips between buildings.

Sometimes picture is blurry on app but not in camera roll or on computer. Then I need to resubmit.

Easy views are helpful especially for not tech co worker. Very easy to get started and customer service is great fast response.

Some parts of the software relied on my company to input. With their workload, it was difficult to know if they’ve done the work or not.

Good, I used to claim certain expenses that my company allows us, Experience is good overall.

Once my app was not working well but that was temporary.

The associates I have interacted with at their "App Support" have all been very professional and nice and as helpful as they can be.

There’s a “break even point” where if you drive too many miles you’ll get paid less than the average federal rate. Sometimes as low as $.30 a mile which is horrible.

Overall, from a user perspective, I like the product. It's easy to use and when I have had questions the customer support is excellent.

There is really nothing that I can think of regarding this software, in a negative light.

I've been using for several years now, great experience and the pros I mentioned above have become better ad more reliable over time.

And those complaints have never been addressed. There are only two possible conclusions here: 1-Motus is incapable of fixing their own app or 2-Motus just doesn't care.

I like the ease of use and that the gps function makes it convenient to track my mileage. I also appreciate the customer service and website efficiency.

The lack of being able to edit start and end times is an issue.
