When you work with partners (e.i. franchises, teams, resellers, dealers, agents) and you want your teams to create on-brand content across all channels and find content instantly.
Issuu is popular with content marketers, magazine and catalog publishers, educators, and small businesses, especially real estate professionals, architects, and restaurateurs.
We have benefitted in a great way by using Marvia, but I believe there are still a lot more benefits to gain and Marvia is always working with us to see and understand how we can gain those benefits.
The filter in the administrator does not always work properly. Sometimes hard to get an overview of all the orders.
Marvia has a great amount of functionalities and they are very easy to use. The combination of these has made Marvia great for skilled users but also beginners.
Complex templates are sometimes hard to implement.
Marvia is a great company to work with, helpfull and easy to get in touch with. They are always looking for the win/win situation.
We sometimes experience little bugs within the software. However the people at Marvia are always willing to solve problems.
The most positive thing about having launched Marvia is that our colleagues now became visual designers themselves, giving them the opportunity to create flyers and posters within a short time.
It is not possible to create or redesign your templates by yourself.
Overall it's a good tool to showcase creative and professional portfolios and share them with people. Interactive transition while flipping pages gives a very natural and feel good vibe.
I've had a frustrating time combining two accounts. I'm disillusioned by how much it costs public school to utilize Issuu for their print production, but I know no other company that does this.
I love the way the finished product looks when I upload our programs. And I really like that you can separate things out to better showcase them.
I was the most disappointed about the introduction of sales as a paid feature.
Love being able to share PDFs and mimic the experience of a printed book. Great for my real estate clients when they want to share leasing brochures without the expense of printing and mailing a book.
I started to use issuu years ago and I could embed the publication on my website. Now it's a paid feature, which is disappointing.
I love the look and functionality of my digital lookbooks. They're easy for my clients to use and they help give me an edge to look more professional and give a more luxury experience.
At this point, I'm just using Issuu for the online reader. It's very disappointing that I can't even embed a basic reader anymore.
Dianne L.: Hi. I'm Dianne, and I'm the editor and publisher. And I give Issuu a five-star review. For more reviews like this, click below. Before Issuu, I had a problem with being able to put all of my magazines in one place for my advertisers to access, to show the value of what they were going to be advertising in. I really didn't have anything like that before Issuu. And I was really pleased to find Issuu because it allowed me to document and archive and send links to my potential advertisers so they could see the quality of the magazine. The reason I really like Issuu is because it's very easy to use. And I had to upload a magazine every two months, and I was able to do it in no time at all and then send copies, links to the magazine out to my readers and my advertisers to show them that the ads were coming out in their magazine. So it was really easy to use. I was really happy about that. When I started using it, like I said, it was extremely easy to use. And I was really happy about the way my users could use it as well. They could click on it. They could go to different pictures. They could expand the pictures, the page if they wanted. And it was just really simple. And it was like, I can't remember how I found it, but I may have just been Googling around and stumbled on it and I was like, "Oh, this could really work for me." And so I tried it. And like I said, it was just really simple to use and simple to upload the magazine and very simple link that I could send to everybody, and it really worked. And I've got 13 years of issues on there right now. I would recommend using this resource for anybody who's doing a community magazine, even a big national magazine, but especially for smaller magazines because it really allows you to archive your material. And it allows you to use it to approach advertisers, because as you know, magazines stay alive because of advertisers. So a simple link will send the advertiser to your issue page, and all of your magazines are there for them to look at and to browse through and to check out. So I really recommend it, especially for smaller, more local magazines. So yeah, it's an amazing resource and I've really appreciated having it.
