CommunityForce Scholarship Management Solution vs AwardSpring: Which is a better fit?

Having the ability to set up a scholarship program with over 130 scholarships with varied criteria was a great benefit.

At times, the platform was a bit confusing. I attribute that to my lack of use/knowledge.

We enhanced the faculty and student experience dramatically by providing easy to access and consolidated views to opportunities. The workflow of pre and post award was outstanding.

The largest complaint, if that may be a complaint is the limited ability to customize the look and feel of the landing page for the portal.

Representative has been a pleasure to work with over the years and provides excellent training and is always available for follow-up questions.

By means of tracking, there was no way to develop student profiles and connect email communication directly to the student that would cover an extended period of time.

We now have a way for students, faculty and staff to go to a single portal to search, find and apply to various award opportunities. This has vastly improved the overall engagement with our community.

Our selections criteria and scoring matrix are very complex and don't really synch well with SU's evaluation system.

Ability to see which students have been awarded when looking at all scholarships. I've been extremely happy with the customer service.

Also, I am frustrated that you can not delete questions that are no longer necessary on the application.

Reviewers love it, students love it, and all this for a very affordable cost. When I need help, customer services is always ready and willing, and they're super friendly, too.

With some companies you purchase their product and you regret it or never hear from them again. That is not the case with AwardSpring, they are there for you when you need them.

Video option for students to provide a thank you to their donor. Love having access to the student thank you letters which we never had before.

I know them by name and there is no waiting on hold nonsense. I can't speak highly enough about this product and the staff.

There are some great advantages for the students--ability to apply anywhere, anytime they have internet access. Fabulous that the application is saved as they go.

Before AwardSpring, we had a paper based application process. It was cumbersome, time consuming and there was far more room for human error on our part.
