Powtoon is an awesome tool even if you do not upgrade to the paid version. The free version still allows you to create awesome Powtoon presentations that you can use as fun or in business as well.
Minor Glitch: Sometimes, objects (vectors, geometric shapes) would move to the wrong place by mouse drags. This is more of a minor nuisance than a real problem.
I heavily recommend PowToon as the software has captivated our audience with the animations that we have created with it and our company has used several to effectively teach students as well.
On occasion I'll have trouble uploading or downloading a video. It's never been something I couldn't rectify easily.

Plans are a little misleading, the number of intros are limited in each plan and the lower priced plans also have limited quality for each intro.
It is so user friendly that its actually amazing. Its really easy to learn how to use and it has so many templates that almost everyone will be able to create a video that suits them.
I call it the curse of abundance. Some of the templates are only limited to a number of slides and so this limits what one can do with certain presentations.
Hands down its the "ease of use" that makes this a pleasure to use. Over the past few years they keep adding more features and services that just enhances the quality of the service.

The other products that we were considering when we chose PowToon and made this decision, we were looking into iMovie, we were looking into Adobe products, and PowToon seemed easier, more user-friendly, and it overall was more cost-effective for our organization. With choosing PowToon, it was more user-friendly for beginners within our organization. We found that it was easier with the templates, with the different content, different applications that you can use within PowToon for our staff members, whether they were beginners or whether they had more video experience or more editing experience. So overall, PowToon was our choice. During the onboarding beginning stages of using PowToon, we first started it with a small group of our staff members and got them trained, and then they were able to work with other staff members who would use PowToon more widely. And overall, it was very easy to get started with PowToon, with the staff members on PowToons on their side, and they were able to answer any technical questions we had or any, either tiny questions that we had, and we were able to also find answers to questions on their website very easily. I would recommend to other organizations who are looking at PowToons, that if they're looking for something that's very user-friendly, straightforward, easy to use from just editing and exporting and sharing, PowToon is probably the right choice for you. There are so many capabilities within PowToon, that I feel that it could be beneficial for any organization.
