For organizations that want to run multiple recognition programs from one place and use Amazon (among other vendors) for rewards.
Small to medium sized business who have an HR individual / team that wants to put culture at the forefront of their performance review process.
Loved it, and glad my company partners and rewards its employees with points from this company.
I can't think of anything that was difficult or that I felt was missing.
Amazing site with amazing features that make the people we work with feel absolutely appreciated and have something to show for it.
I was given the Awardco administering duties in January this year, I was clueless and felt very overwhelmed because I had only been a employee user before that so I only knew how to spend points.
Ease of implementation and use. Employees love it and automated recognition posts are awesome.
At first I was unaware my points could have been used besides the featured products on the homepage.
I love that it’s a system that you can keep track of throughout your career, see how many times you’ve been awarded and check out other people as well. The prizes to choose from are great.
I can't honestly say I disliked anything about the process or the experience of using Awardco.
The folks at Threads are the most helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable people I have ever dealt with. I have always found them to be available to help me with an issue and solve it quickly.
If you are not working well with your colleagues the customers will know and it will impact the business as a whole.
We sprung for the in-person training and the staff really enjoyed it - got great feedback. The CEO is a great public speaker and everyone could relate to what he was preaching.
Limited options for different review types (i.e an abbreviated review as opposed to a full one). Org chart operation was cumbersome (in my opinion, but it could be my fault).
I can honestly say that their staff is wonderful - our client rep who assisted us with our implementation was great to work with. Always extremely helpful.
Since I had done all the research and made the case for the switch, I was a bit nervous as to how it all would come together.
We provided the requested data to Threads and their team took care of the setup. I can only describe my experience with Threads as "Awesome" throughout the entire process up to and including training.

Kimberley R.: Hi, my name is Kim. I am the director of Total Rewards. My organization, we have about 1100 associates. And rating Awardco, I'd give them a five. Prior to Awardco, we had O.C. Tanner, and had O.C. Tanner for decades. And they were just so antiquated, and it was very difficult. It wasn't like they were trying to expand our recognition opportunities with our associates, and so we did a little RFP, and Awardco came out on top and we've loved them ever since. Yeah, we chose Awardco mostly for the simplicity of the setup and how easy it is to add additional programs. We initially started with just service awards, and we've expanded that now. We use it now for holiday gifts, we do birthday cards and anniversary cards, and all that good stuff. We just recently rolled out peer-to-peer recognition with no monetary value. And for 2024, we're going to be adding manager recognition with monetary value. Okay, so let me just explain. We have very high turnover, and so part of the concern with the previous program is we were sending recognition things to people who had terminated. And so, the lovely part about Awardco, too, is we have a daily feed that goes to Awardco. So when we terminate somebody in our system, automatically their points get archived. So we're no longer recognizing terminated employees. That was a big selling point for us. So again, we have a daily feed and it's just really easy to set up new programs, and we had a great account manager that helped us roll out the initial program. Yeah. I would definitely tell them that if you need something simple, easy to administer, really, I could set up a new program in very little time. I can go in and look and see who's using the points, what they're using the points for. It's just a really easy program. Again, that daily feed for us is critical because of our turnover. I would just say definitely make sure you look at Awardco if you're looking to change your recognition program.
