It feels a lot more fluid and a lot less frictio than e.g. Teams. I wouldn't say I enjoy using it but it's less painfull . Integrations work well.

Pros

ease of use is good (but it used to be even better a year ago). I find many updates didn't really improve useability. File sharing is so easy and it's also way easier to find files compared t other platforms

Cons

I hae the feeling the more updtes thy make the more clicks you have to go through to do a simple task, e.g. core features e.g. startigng a huddle is not as easily accessible as it used to be.

Pros

I like the channels feature to keep conversations separate, I like that I can private messages coworkers, and I like the versatility. I also like the away and vacationing status and the ability to turn off notifications on some channels.

Cons

Sometimes the search function doesn't work as well and I wish it was more intuitive to reply in threads rather than to a whole channel

Slack is my main form of communication at the office. It really helps me stay organized while handle multiple tasks.

Pros

Slack allows seamless group coordination and communication. Great to be able to break off conversations with the team and even separate projects with the accurate team members.

Cons

Sometimes the attachments I try to send will not attach due to size. Not the biggest deal, but always nice to be seamless.

Slack is a great product, virtually bug free and does everything you would expect of it. It’s available on mobile, desktop app and in a web browser

Pros

I have been using Slack for years now and it has been a consistently solid messaging platform. Its ability to hook into automations has been a great ability for us. Slack is straightforward to use, great for file sharing, providing the ability for ad-hoc meetings also.

Cons

I have very little in terms of complaints with Slack. It does exactly what I need it to do with issue.

My overall experience using Slack messaging was a positive experience. It made our team meetings memorable by sharing GIF’s, videos and important company information.

Pros

This is the most user friendly messaging experience I ever experienced. It made our team meeting more productive since it was quicker than meeting face to face. All my colleagues were happy with it.

Cons

Nothing, I don’t remember anything being bad.Everyone picked up on learning this messaging system quickly.

It was a company wide decision to switch from slack to Microsoft Teams. Most of my coworkers did not welcome the change and preferred Slack over Teams. Microsoft Teams took up more space and could not minimize the chat box.

Overall my experience with Slack is positive. I have used it for years and will probably continue to do so.

Pros

Slack connects our team very easily. Having staff that have hybrid and fully remote schedules makes digital communication critical. Slack is our solution.

Cons

Huddles can be spotty sometimes. Typically only one person can hear and the other can't and then you have to restart the call.

Overall, I am very satisfied with using Slack for communication and sharing with team members. Bugs are minimal only and no other serious issues experienced.

Pros

What I like most about Slack is the ease of communication especially when sharing files. It's very organize file sharing platform.

Cons

The only downside I experienced with Slack are the bugs. There are no notices when the tool is down so there's a bit of delayed in communication.

Pros

Ease and speed of communication. It's quick and easy to share news, information and instructions on Slack, which makes progressing tasks efficient.

Cons

I've always found notifications in Slack confusing and inefficient. Even when you have read the notification, Slack often suggests it's still unread which is annoying.

Overall, I have nice experience with Slack. It really boost my collaboration, increase speeds up communication and helps team proper align across projects.

Pros

Slack provide team communication very fast and super organized via channels, direct message. I really like conversation are structured by project or department, which is easy to use.

Cons

One thing that I dislike is too many channels and notifications can be overwhelming. And more than 90 days message can't be accessible if user has free plan. Some useful feature like extended message and advanced integrations are only available in paid plan.
