Very cool concept for software to make it easy to send and receive engagement letters and payment. Onboarding process is very thorough, and their support team is extremely helpful. They have very secure payment storage as well, which put our clients minds at ease.

Cons

It is VERY expensive. We also found out that our current project management software did not integrate with Ignition, so we could not use the software. As a result, we could not get any refund. They only gave (I believe) a 1 week free trial before asking you to sign up/pay with them, which is not long enough to determine if the software will work for you.

Pros

I like how you are assigned a customer service rep and they are very responsive. Also the quoting options are endless and you can make tons of custom templates

Cons

I find it quite expensive and editing or undoing transactions is quite difficult. I also find the payment processing lead times to be quite long.

Overall, this is a fantastic platform and has allowed my company and my team to simplify and streamline our sales and assist our cashflow.

Pros

I appreciate the ability that Ignition has that allows us to create our proposals as well as ACH authorizations in one place. I love that it has the capability to sync to QuickBooks Online.

Cons

I wish the client payments were processed faster with an affordable option for next day deposit.

Pros

Recurring billing was nice, and having all engagement letters in one place was helpful.

Cons

Billed me for an annual subscription that had been closed for 6 months at the same time they billed me for a monthly subscription. When pressed about getting my money back I was met with total incompetence. I was told, "the computer randomly billed you." When I asked about getting my money back I was told, "expect to be without funds for 7 business days." Do not do business with these people - They will take money they are not entitled to, and put as many barriers in place as possible to delay returning your funds. BUYER BEWARE!

Good experience. The pricing structure is not as competitive especially when using it for smaller engagements. It’s very difficult to link an existing stripe account.

Pros

Great client interface. Fairly easy to implement. Excellent onboarding and support staff. Offers a lot of features, at an additional cost.

Cons

Cost increases significantly for each features. No payment integrations except Stripe. Cost gets non-competitive after the add-ons. Without the add-on features the program lacks features included worh other packages

Pros

A streamlined proposal process that looks great and professional, and helps automate the engagement process

Cons

Pricing makes it unrealistic for small businesses. Being only one stage of the process makes it difficult to work between Ignition with another practice management solution to manage everything else like projects, tasks, etc. For many an all in one solution works better even though Ignition can integrate with many other PM platforms.

Great, the ease of renewing proposals and overall link with our accounting software ultimately saves us time.

Pros

The ability to use multiple domains within one practice and have our engagement letter sent with our proposals, so they are dealt with upfront.

Cons

I have to use external pricing software to get bespoke prices for clients before building the proposal in Ignition to make the use of the services easier.
