I love love love how I can try this for free without a card for my clients. I can customize and teach them the CMS.
You open a ticket for a very urgent technical problem and you reply answer next day like this: "We could not replicate the problem here, you might be doing something wrong.
Phenomenal- I love their customer service, I love their platform...and love that I could white label them.
The IOS app has been so bad and now doesn't work and their tech team has done nothing to fix it.
The easy-to-use inbuilt feature-set & ability to customize many, many things to my client's needs. Push notifications, the ability to internally monetize & the slick output of the design.
Resolved and you're stuck with a crappy APP which they cannot dix.
For someone with no programing experience the app is so easy to use and the end result is so polished it looks like you hired a professional to do it.
If you are finally able to build and launch an app, it will take a long time to load for users and you'll get a lot of poor reviews which I have.
Very easy report generation, responsive filters, amazing search functionality. QuickBase reps, both sales and tech support, are wonderful.
You can manipulate security access and such, but if someone makes a wrong move and deletes a profile (or worse, a FIELD), you're in trouble. ALL of that data will be lost if that happens.
In that time I have come to grow and love the solution. It is very easy to use and customize and the reporting is top notch.
You need to make sure to fully map out your "plan of attack" before creating an app or you will end up will a mess of unnecessary fields and data.
As a data store and visualization tool, it's a great fit. I appreciated the ease with which I was able to import all of my existing data from a variety of different applications.
Inability to take more the three attachments for a particular project seems space limiting for larger endeavors.
The QuickBase sales and support (all-important) teams respond rapidly, have good ideas, and want to see their customers succeed.
Reliability on services is sometimes difficult. If something breaks, you will need to understand what is broken and alert Quickbase.
Joseph S.: Hi, my name's Josh. I'm a senior database consultant. I work for the Data Collaborative. I also have an offshoot, teachquickbase.com. And I've been doing Quickbase for 20-plus years. And I give it a five out of five. We're a consulting agency. We work with hundreds of clients. We solve everything from workflow management to quality control to operations, financial, CRM. It's just there's a lot of different things that we have to solve for customers. The fact that it can solve just about anything. And also that it's a lot easier to use than a full stack situation where you got to have an FTP client and you got to have database tools and you got to have an ID. This is all in a web browser, and it is something that people who are in the client company, not on the tech team, can actually learn to use. And because they're either into quality control team or they're in the finance team or admin, they can learn how to use it. And that's probably the biggest value, is actually having somebody who's in a role of the active running of the company, designing Quickbase, and working with me to help perfect the tools for their users. So the first thing I said about, it solves everything. You really can use Quickbase for anything. That is a hard thing for some people, when they open it up, they don't exactly know where to start because it's a blank slate. But for me, I mean, I've been doing this for 20 years and I just start a discussion with the client, "Okay, what are you trying to do?" And we just work on it and they eventually get the idea that they can do anything and that it's not that hard to start from ground zero and go up.
