ShipStation is a web-based shipping software that was designed for multichannel businesses. Anyone who sells on multiple platforms (eBay, Amazon, etc.) & ships physical goods can save time & money.
Commercial printers, publishers, in-plant print centers, franchise network printers, packaging printers and converters.
Very easy to use, integration with third party software is superb and great customer service.
Been using their system for over 3 years, and one day they just disabled my account and I lost all the the shipping cost and order data, they do not respond to customer service requests at all.
This is the best shipping automation software I have found so far I've been late to automate all your orders Integrations they have with almost every platform is amazing.
In my book a scam and useless waste of money Stay away.
Another of our favorite features is the branded tracking page that your customers will see with the tracking code. It looks great and helps give your site a more polished and professional look.
One of the worst experiences ever in 40 years in business.
It gave me the confidence to successfully run my side business and have all the paper trails and reports saved in one location.
Very poor customer support. I have contacted them on Friday and was not even replied to by end of day.
Integration with UPS and Fedex works well. And the ability to important mass quantities of drop shipments and have them show up in pace is great.
When doing bulk shipments the import will fail and you will get a completely unhelpful generic error so it is hard to troubleshoot what the error is. International shipments generally don't work.
I like that if I choose I can enter any given address one time and the system will save it. Then if I ship there again, I do not have to type it all out again.
Inability to prevent a shipment from shipping when an order does not have a Job Number. Also inability to move shipments from one job to another if a wrong job number is supplied.
I love that fact that it will email when a shipment is processed. I can choose myself, if I just want to know when something is headed to a vendor or something.
After numerous webexes, delays and lack of results, my team dug into it and discovered that there is problem with the a multiplier in the ProcessShipper code.
It is great how easy it is to UPS or FedEx a package within PrintSmith.
There is always an error, so we've stopped using Process Shipper for Canadian shipments. We reached out to Process Shipper support over a year ago to try to trouble shoot it.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Cameron. I'm an independent operator of my own business, and I have used ShipStation for I think about five years now, and I give it five stars. Previous to ShipStation, I was just running through the U.S Post Office app and printing my postage and I would deliver it by hand, and so to be able to just drop it in the post out in the mailbox is a huge time saver and saves a lot of money. So definitely appreciate the automation. I chose ShipStation because they were affordable, I think it was like five to 10 bucks to start. And immediately they had good customer service, so it wasn't difficult to set up. It's twenty-four seven customer service. It's a big deal if you're an entrepreneur. Sometimes you're working through the night. It's great to be able to reach somebody and solve a problem. It only took about, I think 20 minutes, 15, 20 minutes, and the first time I was using, I had an aide and they took me through the whole process. So that was... As far as I remember, it's been a while, but yeah, it was fairly easy. So less than 30 minutes. Definitely recommend it. Saves a ton of time, is affordable. 10 bucks a month, and has probably saved me a lot of money and a lot of time for sure, compared to what I used to do, which was just go by hand and manually drop all these off at the post office. So definitely recommend it.
