The biggest problem with this software is that it's very unreliable. Call notes regularly get lost.
They have great service availability and monitoring. The customer support line is superb.
There was no doubt that we required this. We also encountered some problems when integrating the calendars for MiTeam and MiCollab.
For the most part the system is fairly reliable and integrates well with other software Apps and is very affordable with great endpoint devices.
For example, I will go to put a call on hold and it will display an error. Eventually I can put the call on hold, but it can get frustrating if I have a customer waiting.
We've been using ShoreTelSky since its inception. They have always focused on providing a quality service and excellent customer service.
For now I do't think there's anything missing in this software.
I really enjoy the clean lay out of the program, it just looks visually appealing while using. Especially the screen that pops up with nice large blue buttons.
We prefer Zoom over the video conference system they offer, which is a white label Zoom product but they appear to be migrating away. If you have a problem their customer support is terrible.
Again, my experience has been wonderful. Easy to use, easy to set up, solid customer service...I highly recommend their platform.

I love how you can forward your calls to another number within the app. I love how ring central has the ability to transcribe your voicemails into text emails.
The sales dept made 3 appointments and no showed all 3 times. My inside support person is a a grouchy B---OTCH who wants to argue with me and tells me I am the only one every that has been unhappy.

The solution used before the Mitel MiCloud Connect was the ShoreTel On Premises Phone System, which was working fine but did not provide the same level of functionality for operation via the cloud. Switching from the On-Premise Legacy System to the MiCloud Connect Solution was by far the easiest alternative than going to other cloud solutions. By leveraging the on-premise phones, it was very easy to migrate the solution to the cloud, make it easy for the employees, and the end result was a pure cloud solution became available. Getting started with Mitel MiCloud Connect is very easy if you have a existing compatible phone system. If you do, then switching is very easy. You actually migrate the users and the telephone circuits to the cloud and it's made very, very simple for the employees to essentially on a Friday go home, have the switching done on a weekend, and have it up and running on Monday with no disruption to the business. It's very, very easy for employees to now even greater access to cloud services like Mobile Access than ever before. My recommendation for anyone evaluating MiCloud Connect is to assess the importance of keeping the existing Legacy phones in use for the service. If you can use the existing phones and they're compatible with the service that you're evaluating, that's a definite advantage. However, if more employees are using their iPhones and MacBooks and PCs as their preferred device, then you may want to consider another pure cloud solution like Zoom or the Microsoft Team Solutions which also support certain on-prem's devices as needed.
Anjan: Hi, my name is Anjan. I'm a managing director. For RingCentral Office, I give it a rating of four out of five. For more reviews like this, click below. The other applications that we considered prior to going with RingCentral were Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Hangout. For Zoom, we found the file sharing capability was limited. As I recall, Microsoft Teams really did not meet our needs at all in terms of a collaborative approach, because we were going to have about 25 to 30 people logging in simultaneously. Being able to send and receive files seamlessly through the application while being engaged in a video call did not really match up, and the same thing was with Google. I think the reasons that we chose RingCentral was, number one, cost. It was very, very affordable, more affordable than some of the other enterprise licensing parameters. From an actual application standpoint, we liked the seamless ability to be able to send and receive files back and forth. These were a group of students that we were working with. They were dispersed globally, and I needed to be able to access their submissions and their projects in a seamless manner, and be able to collaborate on them and provide them with feedback, and we found that RingCentral was offering the best opportunity and the platform to do that. RingCentral was extremely easy to integrate. Being a SAS application, there was no major installation or requirement. As a matter of fact, our participants could actually just log in with their browsers, so that was actually really beneficial as well. It also allowed for people that were participating in the seminar, if they had a lower bandwidth or if they did not have adequate internet access in terms of bandwidth, that they could still participate in the RingCentral forum without losing any of the direction or visibility or collaborative efforts that the application itself provides. So those were all great, great things with RingCentral, and again, allowed us to very easily and seamlessly utilize the product. The recommendation that we would give for people using RingCentral is that it is not Zoom. So it is powered by Zoom, it looks a lot like Zoom, but it is not Zoom. So my first learning was the fact that, hey, I can't change the background on this thing very, very easily, or as seamlessly as I could in Zoom. When I actually got over the fact that it is not Zoom, but it is powered by Zoom, the application itself became a lot more usable. Where I recommend people focus on is that collaborative element and being able to sort of transfer files back and forth, collaborate on a project, collaborate on a seminar. Those are things that RingCentral is really known for and can be used for. So not Zoom, but RingCentral has some great features.
