High growth technology companies and staffing firms that need to evaluate a large number of software engineers. Education companies that need to be able to assess the coding ability of their students.
Comprehensive results and a clear interview guide made the tests helpful for the hiring process, but also the site is very user friendly, easy to navigate, and it's an excellent value for the price.
The tests are hard to align with some of the more specific positions we have.
It has helped our organization hire rapidly and with confidence, supporting our growth. Also, the simulations mirror real world scenarios which is very helpful in evaluating potential team members.
Some of the feedback that I received from our candidates was that the test was a little strange and time consuming.
It is user friendly and fun to take because of the animations. Administrators can customized the test package depending on the job description.
Too many, sure, it's a waste of time and money. But we have not had an issue since using it that did not get immediate attention in MINUTES.
The situations it takes you through are outstanding and it truly gives them a brief look into what they'll be getting into if they're hired.
Trial period was kind of deceiving - explain you can give 2-4 tests - then you start paying instead of giving a 15/30 day trial.
We owe a great deal of our success on our certification examinations to the support of Qualified. The system is simple, and the qualified technical assistance is excellent.
Currently employed, I find it inconvenient to coordinate meetings with the company's engineer at a time that works for both of our schedules.
The user interface was intuitive and pleasant to interact with. Coding was sweeter with IntelliSense and other perks.
Taking a break was confusing, but I didn't need to halt either test. It was inconvenient that the browser's built-in spellcheck failed to function.
One of my favorite features of Qualified is the ability to create custom assessments based on the knowledge and abilities you need. Many other types of inquiries can be made.
If users took multiple assessments, each assessment they took shows up next to their name and becomes a bit difficult to parse.
The excellent customer service made figuring out this new function a breeze. The Qualified staff is delighted to accommodate its customers' varied learning preferences.
There is some debate about how long a question or quiz should be in a video interview. It was difficult at first, but after we solved the integration problem, everything worked smoothly.
Glenn S.: Hey, my name is Glenn. I'm a talent development manager for the telecommunications industry and I rate HR Avatar pre-employment tests with a five out of five. Before, we were using just generic tests that we would find online and the reason why that didn't work out for us was because it didn't really give us in-depth knowledge of the candidate or applicant we have in front of us, so we wanted something that would give us a full picture of their personality and the skills that they might have for the respective job. The reason why we chose HR Avatar, really, was cost-effective for us. They had a integration with our ADP system and it also allowed us to give applicants the test that they would need at that time that we thought would be beneficial. HR Avatar was actually really easy to integrate in our business. After a short call with one of their account reps, they gave us full access to their site, and really taught us in about an hour or two how to use the tests and how to administer them. I think the biggest thing that they taught us was to basically create a multi-administration link that allows really anybody to take the test, and that really set up a good process for us as we could send that out to all of our applicants. Yeah, so if you're considering getting any type of pre-employment tests, also a whole assessment to test for certain jobs or positions that you have in your company, I would definitely recommend HR Avatar. They're a great partner. Their platform is really easy to use and administer. I really liked the end-user, so when candidates take it, it gives more of a cartoon vibe where it's not so serious where the applicant doesn't get turned off by the assessments that they take and it's really cost-effective.
