ONLYOFFICE is well-suited for businesses of any size working on collaborative projects online, including collaborating communities, non-profit and educational organizations.
Web-based digital asset management solution, which assists businesses of all sizes with file management, collaboration, document scanning, and personalized search.
We as a non profit organization, need to find a robust but not expensive solution for our daly work document processing. This is a great solution for our needs with no impact in our budget.
Compatibility with the newer X files is still off in the sense that the layout of a document can get screwed up a little when someone opens it in MS office.
I've used it during several months and I'm very satisfied with it: good interface, great support and easy to us and understand options.
It also does not work on every OS which is a little difficult considering I have a MacBook and a tablet which I want to sync with each other.
What is impressive about it is that it is well organized and intuitive to our great surprise, it consists of the necessary features which are always of help.
No way to your network fellows know when there is a new document on a project. And no communication with the managers.
I love the dashboard, it is very informative and the graphics are sleek. The compatibility with microsoft office is super helpful and it has a built in CRM.
The licensing scheme is weird for open source software.
OneDrive was a wonderful storage solution for me during my time in college and worked wonderfully for collaborating on projects with classmates.
There are times that syncing between two different devices can be delayed or simply does not work at all.
Overall, outstanding experience, and I would recommend to all of my current and new colleagues.
The only bad thing about this software is the accessibility and getting the hang of the software as in the beginning it was very confusing.
It is great that we can share all the reports, projects and other documentation with such ease and it is accessible for our colleagues in offices around the globe.
When using the synchronized option, the file cannot be modified by accessing it directly from the folder as it will be corrupted and become error. It defeats the purpose of this feature.
Onedrive its fast and reliable it is very secure, and it is very user friendly, very good for work and college projects.
There tends to be more spam associated with OneDrive, occasionally I will receive an email from someone I corresponded with that appears to have a one drive attachment but is actually spam.
Speaker 1: My name is Michelle and I'm a paralegal owner at MTP Paralegal Services, and I would give OneDrive a five out of five. Before OneDrive, I was using iCloud, and I wasn't able to properly share it with my teammates, but on OneDrive I was able to... it's easier for me to share access with my teammates. Okay, I chose OneDrive because I was able to incorporate it into everything that I used, which included Excel, and also Word documents, and I was also able to save other files. It was quite easy to get OneDrive into the business, because everybody was already familiar with Microsoft, so it was an easy transition. My only advice would be to probably keep your password, if you're sharing it with different people, to have access to that, because sometimes it does sign out, and so when you're trying to access the file, sometimes you need to re-sign in. That would be my advice to anybody using it with other users.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
