Pulseway primarily targets IT professionals, managed service providers (MSPs), and businesses with IT infrastructure that require remote monitoring and management (RMM) solutions.
Very good software for monitoring things like server performance or any website performance. Good to operate from both mobile and desktop and customer support of this organisation is very good.
My quibbles are that we have received false alarms on occasion, sometimes caused by their server agents, which have been a little flakey sometimes. Also, the pricing can be confusing.
I love its dashboarding capabilities. And that the monitoring system itself keep track of historical data providing great insight on what is happening.
It is very hard to recover the password once the person who set up the service is no longer with the organization.
Overall we are very happy with this product and all the different options offered by it. We recommend it to any IT personnel.
When you get a phone call that a server of services is down. IT is some times hard to understand what the computer is saying.
Site24x7 can also help you automate tasks like restarting servers or notifying IT staff of issues. This can save you time and help you keep your website running smoothly.
As you have lots of settings available, some times you get puzzled were to configure it properly, for instance when setting up notifications groups/teams.
Nice automation and scripting features. The mobile app is also very good, Account manager is very active making sure everything is as it should be and offering solutions.
The PSA is terrible, we are not going to continue using it. I wish there was more antivirus choices.
As I run a small business I don't have the time to individually check machines, so the peace of mind knowing that I will be alerted of a problem is great. Automation is also a great benefit.
The remote control program organization is weird. We ended up removing policies just so we could organize the clients how we wanted to.
I have never experienced such good support, from presales questions, onboarding, and support, to help me work through implementing solutions for my unique needs. I feel lucky I found this solution.
Currently zero issues with this software - so not sure if there is anything to dislike here.
We are able to troubleshoot our clients issues instantly which helps keep costs down and clients very happy. This is a very affordable product with great flexibility and power to aid in IT operations.
Some missing features when we started to use but it has evolved a lot.
Bryan W.: My name is Bryan. I'm an IT specialist over at Shopper Approved. We've got about just under 50 employees. I give Pulseway an overall rating of five stars. Before Pulseway, I was using Action1. The problems with Action1, it was an early product. It was lacking some features that a more mature product offers. Pulseway gave me those tools, better remote support and better reporting, various other features like that. The biggest reason we went with Pulseway is price. I looked at several other competitors, and Pulseway offered the best price for what we got. And it gave us third-party patching. It gave us a great remote tool that offered remote file transfer. They have a network discovery feature in there, so I can use it to automatically look for new devices, things like that. Yeah, getting started with Pulseway, they gave me a trial, if I remember correctly, and using that trial, I was able to sort of test things out beforehand. And then, once we decided on the product, they were able to take that trial environment and just turn it into the full one, so I didn't have to do any additional setup. But they did give us additional onboarding, so if you didn't do the trial or didn't set up anything, they'll help you and walk you through setting it up. The agent's super easy to install. You can deploy it across the whole fleet if you needed to. It even has Active Directory Discovery, so if it's connected to a domain, it can just install it that way. If you're looking at getting Pulseway, I would just make sure you do look at other competitors. If there's something that you can't afford, there are definitely better products that offer more features or better robust features for a higher price. So, if price isn't an issue, it may not be a bad idea to look elsewhere. But if you are trying to find something on the budget side, Pulseway is a great place to start. They offer lots of add-ons, lots of integrations. Do know that the product is owned by Kaseya. Some people may not care for that. But that's [inaudible 00:02:35].
