Nonprofits that raise $1 million and more without doing more work, and perform targeted, personalized, multi-channel outreach.
Ideal for nonprofits needing to replace legacy CRMs or donor management systems with a more flexible and robust platform that consolidates data for better data-driven strategy and decision making.
They have a robust reporting and infographics feature that helps you keep up on top of your goals and progress monetarily or with responses to forms/emails.
Our experience was TERRIBLE. The EA team held the org's data hostage, prolonged the process of migration, and made the customer pay for extra months that they didn't need because of EA's delay.
I love the system and couldn’t dream of using anything else. It’s very user friendly and helps our organization collaborate between departments with ease.
We do know we one of the negatives in the selection process was the inability to embed video in outbound emails.
We're excited about the development of automations and would love to see an option to include steps like texting or removing activist codes as well based on meeting search criteria.
Difficult to sort through large volumes of contact in your database.
I like how easily I can get in touch with EA's support. I also like how solid the various tools are - very little bugginess, which is a huge upgrade from what we used before.
In order to do a mass ID and purge, you have to pay an additional fee.
Basic navigation and ability to store a wealth of information is what I like the most early-on. Support has been excellent - prompt and thorough.
It seems to be an error on my computer’s end but I have not been able to figure out how to fix it.
The integration of event platforms and the ability to do so much all in one place for a great value. Our old platform was pretty basic when it came to integrations and event planning capabilities.
It does lack a database of articles or instructions to search when encountering a question.
They go above and beyond to help any way they can. I have and will continue to recommend this product to all of my nonprofit colleagues.
Not having aligned fields into quickbooks online is my primary burden with this system - as double-entries, basically, are needed in order to get donations into my correct budget bucket.
It's been a great experience. With time we will truly understand giving patterns and have a stronger hold on donor relations.
Of course the information is migrated into QB daily, but I have to re-enter, cut and paste several pieces of info to have it be right in QB.
Speaker 1: My name is Aaron. I'm the development director at an organization called Sisu Youth Services. We are a relatively small nonprofit that serves young people experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City, and I give Bonterra five out of five stars. Before we used Bonterra, we used a combination of spreadsheets and an online fundraising tool called Network for Good. We chose Bonterra because it has a huge suite of tools that were better able to serve our growing organization, and we liked that it was one tool that had everything that we needed from online fundraising to a really powerful CRM, to grants management and moves management for my major donors. Bonterra requires some focus set up, but it was easy and I had support from their staff as well as tons of resources in their resource library and help center that made set up and getting started really easy. For someone else considering Bonterra, I would ask yourself, do you need a single solution that has really powerful data tools? Then I think Bonterra is right for you. If you're an organization that is growing into the grants management space or into major giving, and you need something a little bit more grown up than your organization has been using, then I think Bonterra is for you, and those are my recommendations.
