Sling works great for companies of all industries and sizes. Our customers range from small single-location businesses to multi-location enterprise organizations.
Prospr is built by operators for managers & frontline teams. Ideal for multi-unit operators with hourly or shift-base employees, Prospr is the app teams choose to do their best work.
I love the filter fields which help me view specific schedules with ease. I also love the newsfeed feature.
Cant think of much, sorry. Sometimes when using edit feature for a REPEATING Shift you are unable to do a few, possibly week at a time??? its either All Future Shifts or Just this one.
Clocking in works great with SLING, scheduling and the employee interaction with the app is fantastic.
Tasks Function: Lack of functionality - The task schedule does not support large teams very well. We have decided to not use this function at this time.
I like that this software is fairly user friendly. If your shift is pre-programmed, you can go right on the app and clock in (which is helpful).
Users can private message each other within Sling. If these messages take a negative turn.
My company uses the free version of Sling, and for something that is cost free it's really wonderful.
Sometimes it is difficult to shortlist relevant shifts and employees when setting schedules for multiple locations, especially in cases of particular employees working in more than one location.
Stefanie O.: Hi, my name is Stefanie and I work for an orthodontic practice with a team size of about 60 people and I'm the director of operations. And I would rate Sling as a 5. So before we were using Sling, I was using a Word document that basically I would type out the location or a multi-location practice. So I was typing out each location and who was working in that location, at what time. I chose Sling because I could type in all of our different locations that we have. It made it very easy to put in everyone's time schedule. I could easily see that they weren't going into overtime. And then also I like the fact that if somebody can't cover their shift, we can make it unavailable. Getting started with Sling was also very easy. I put in all of our employees' names, their roles in our company, all of our multi-locations and our hours, and was able to color code everything, which was a nice feature. I love that. It makes it easy for the team to see certain features that we have to see who they're working with it. Everything is great. My advice for anyone thinking about trying Sling is just to do it. The trial is super easy to set up. You have a ton of features that you can either choose to use or to not use. And if you don't like it, then you can research another product and see if that fits your needs better. I did do a few before ending up deciding on using Sling.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
