Asset Panda is an excellent solution for a use-friendly asset management and tracking software that is flexible and easy to implement and use long-term.
Lack of Android support. Was told the lack of support is due to "inferior cameras on Android devices" and I would beg to differ.
I find it super easy to add data to my assets, create new assets, create new links associated to assets, and to upload documentation. The app is super user friendly for my field teams to use.
One-time we had an issue that caused an error ,it was difficult to trace, it wasn't immediately identifiable. Once we realized what it was ,it took several weeks to get it fixed.
I love the ease of importing in new assets when I need them. I have also greatly appreciated the dashboard system where I'm able to quickly glance and see where my assets are at any given time.
There is nothing that we have found negative about the software.
We chose Asset Panda after looking at several asset management software. We selected Panda because it is easy to use, easy to build reports and has a great price.
I have not yet identified anything I dislike with this product.
What I like the most about this software is that it is very easy to understand, and to follow thru. The assets are easy to find with all the many search criteria that it has.
It can be confusing when first getting started knowing how to catalog items.
Great programs, would highly recommend gigatrak. The customer support was outstanding, weather by email or by phone they always helped out.
It doesn't work right often enough that it's frustrating.
My experience has been good. I think this is an excellent Asset Tracking software system and I highly recommend it.
There is no where in the software to input a location within your tool room location.
The reports are an awesome feature. The cost is well within our budget I love adding photos to each asset, and printing a copy of the Asset values by employee.
I need to inventory all of my items once a year and the way it is currently set up makes that task very difficult.

The university I work at has its own internal proprietary asset management tracker software. It was just relatively limited so it didn't give us a lot of the customization tools that Asset Panda did. So we work with Asset Panda in conjunction with what's required at my university. I chose Asset Panda because of its user-friendliness and its ability to allow users to customize basically anything that we'd ever want for tracking assets. I think I started with Asset Panda about four years ago. So since then, they've actually updated a lot of their platform to make it a lot more user-friendly to get started. The onboarding process I think is a lot easier now than it was back when I first started. I would recommend for new users to check out all the forums and online materials to see what other people have done with Asset Panda. There are a lot of power users out there that are really taking it as far as it can go. Start small, but then research into seeing what other people are doing and you'll be pretty impressed.
