Granular vs Herdwatch: Which is a better fit?

Granular's customer service is awesome they help you with anything and everything you need. They help make the software.

The on boarding process is brutal. It took 2 guys all winter to get all of the data set up.

The customer support has been extraordinary. ERP systems take a big commitment so very useful to have that kind of support.

Right now the biggest dislike is information doesn't flow back and forth between business and insights.

I also like the ability to drill down through data and see what is truly happening, and the ability to monitor task progress has been helpful.

It is missing a lot of data. You don't get to see very many numbers on the mobile app.

Ability to track nearly every aspect of our farming operation. Very happy with the ability to integrate with our machinery and save time in manually entering data.

Some of the reports are hard to develop at first.

I like that the information can be fed into and from other apps. The main features i use are the feed management and the remedy management and find these useful for tracking.

I find the breeding section confusing and have stopped using the heat reminder as my old style wall chart is more to my style.

Information all in one place, and very good reports available for the likes of bord bia audit.

Has been disappointing trying to record vet visits eg not recognising products.

Overall i am happy with the app, i have been using it for less than 6 months so still have a lot to learn about it and to discover more of the features.

One particular area that i find difficult to use is the spray feature.

Very easy to use and the customer service is excellent. Can add a medicine remedy as soon as the animals are treated which saves so much time preparing for the Bord Bia audit.

Animal tag numbers can be hard to read, instead of UK 9 124222 1111 3 it come out uk912422211113 which is harder to read.
