Companies of all sizes use Dropbox Business for collaboration, file sharing, online backup, and more.
Enterprise customers in the consumer goods, food & beverage, cosmetics, crop science and specialty chemical industries in North America and Europe.
We loved the ability to share documents throughout the company with Dropbox. We ended up switching to OneDrive - only because it is free to us.
There have been instances where we have experienced sync conflicts in folders that resulted in multiple copies of documentation sitting around and that can get confusing.
Well the overall business experience of the dropbox is just amazing its like who can't afford the price for they have free version too well it's great.
Looking for a passive aggressive way to make someone miserable, Dropbox is the tool for you.
It is an easy way to store files and documents and have them organized. It is also super useful you can then access everything you upload from any other device or share them with someone else.
I suspect that it could be vulnerable to malware if anyone on the team uploads an infected file.
Super simple for me, super fast secure and accessible anywhere. It's a great product that is integrated into all operating systems and devices.
Sometimes there are errors in synchronizing files. With poor internet its difficult for all the files to be uploaded.
UI is great, document handling is above par, and while quality events can sometimes feel like an add on, the UI is still great and customization / configuration is a breeze.
The rendition of documents held is limited and could be expanded to cover other formats.
Friendly and easy to use for end users. Implementation teams share their other customers experiences ans best business practices, this is a HUGE project accelerator.
Currently difficult to print documents, many steps are required.
Best in class document and record management and pretty good quality event management to boot.
Make sure to use the more restricted way of working only when it is really needed.
Additional selling points for us were the full API and excellent and responsive troubleshooting / support.
Sometimes the relationships between objects is not automatically created. For example you can relate a finding to an audit, but then you must go into the audit and relate it back to the finding.
Allison B.: Hi, my name is Allison. I am a litigation paralegal, and on a scale of one to five, I give Dropbox a five. Currently, we use Dropbox to actually communicate with other attorneys, courts. We store our files there, and it's very, very time management, and it's great so that we can literally assign clients their Dropbox. They can go in and they can insert pictures or whatever they need to put in those spots also. So we basically use it as a tool for our case management. What I like most is that I can use it here at the office or if I'm at home. Let's say I'm on vacation, I'm never without it. I'm always able to access it and get the information. It's not like just, okay, if you save something on your desktop or on your normal computer, you go out of town, client call, you have no access, you have to call into the office. But with Dropbox, you always have that information, so I like the flexibility. Well our firm is pretty large. We have about anywhere from 15 to 20. We do way over $1 million in revenue a year, so I haven't had a problem where anything gets stuck, anything get lost, or I get to a place or go somewhere where I'm not able to access Dropbox. So right now I'm fine with it.
