Capterra’s researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. iDonate serves 501-c3 certified nonprofits of all sizes in the faith, higher education, and health & human services sectors.
Zeffy is the only zero-fee fundraising platform for nonprofits. Best suited for small and medium nonprofit organizations. Serving over 50,000 nonprofits across North America.
Overall my experience with iDonate has been great. I would recommend it to any organization looking for a great online giving platform.
The back-end reporting and banking has been a struggle for our bookkeepers. They say the systems are not aligned well with our accounting methods.
This has even worked with the teenagers, who love instagram -- having an easy link in a bio with a dedicated page made giving so easy.
Can't process donations after an event closes when using the Event Management function - extremely frustrating and almost a deal-breaker.
The iDonate interface is user friendly, and fairly easy to navigate through. The customer service is excellent with a quick response time.
You can only host one P2P fundraiser under a campaign - makes no sense. No option to add a registration fee in conjunction with P2P fundraising.
Our donors have choices when giving. Their staff is very helpful and a joy to work with.
An overall well-built product with a few very irritating features and disappointing tech support.
And, the customer service is so good that all of our questions were answered quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased with Zeffy.
Our event is $400 per registration, so the form defaulting to add another $40+ is very misleading and possibly upsetting to our registrants.
Our experience thus far has been outstanding. We love the ease of using it, our donors love how easy it is to set up their donation, and customer support has been outstanding.
I wish there were a way to add a zoom link to events registration forms, but I swear that's the only thing missing.
Zeffy does an amazing job keeping all of the information together in one place. They do not take out fees from the donations and everyone has been pleased with the sign up process.
The only struggle I have had is with the amount of time it is taking to transfer over my current donor list of 2,000 over to Zeffy.
Zeffy does not charge organization’s to utilize their platform, and they provide great support. They also provide wonderful free training and webinars.
I only wish we could use it for more services, but no doubt that will come.
Mandi: Hey, I'm Mandi. I'm a mentoring coordinator. I would give Simplyk a five out of five rating. For more ratings like this, click below. So we switched to Simplyk from CanadaHelps. We still use CanadaHelps, but the price of Simplyk is really one of the biggest things and also customer service very individualized, very friendly, very speedy, very quick. So Simplyk is more aligned. We can make it more streamlined with our website. It fits in better, very customizable. It is, again, like I said, very customer service-oriented, very individualized. So we have a person we can connect with and they can share screen and help us. And the ticketing, the ability to do everything together, it all just makes it almost seamless really. Simplyk was very easy to set up. Again, very individualized connection with our representative. They helped us set it up. They helped with any glitches. If we have an issue, we just email and within a day it's fixed whether we can do it ourselves or we need tech support. So very seamless, very user-friendly. Nothing else. The price of Simplyk is right, especially for non-profit. It is zero-cost to the organization. So with the amount of customer service and the price, that is probably a very no-brainer reason to switch, but also Canadian-based is important to us as well. And yeah, just really person-centered, which is what we do.
