Home inspectors that want a great report writer plus comprehensive business management tools that help you manage your business more effectively and generate more money.
Home Inspectors
The ability to schedule an inspection and the software does the rest is amazing. I don't have to contact 5 separate people isn takes care of it all.
I find it a little frustrating that if an inspection is cancelled, my vendors are not notified.
But we like the scheduling, automatic notices and reporting features the best. We have ours tailored to what we want and it's easy to make changes to the template.
The site can be a little difficult to navigate sometimes.
It is an excellent experience all around. What I love most is that the customer service dept. is always helpful and answers all our questions.
It needs more options when scheduling drop offs or pick ups. We are not always coordinating around an inspection.
In time I can see the great value this software will be to my business helping me to save time and money in the long run. I will let you know more in a few months.
Right now the prospects of “pay at closing” option Guardian Financial may offer has me staying put. Also, the fact Porch now owns ISN leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Inspectcheck.net is great because of the formatting. It allows you to systematically inspect each home the same and reduces the chances of not inspecting any component.
Transitioning between online and offline reporting. Initially, had difficulty learning how to use offline without losing information.
I like the ease of use and how you cannot complete the report until everything has been addressed. It gives me peace of mind.
When this is the case the possibility of losing a signal is always on your mind. If a mistake is made the inspector may not be able to retrieve his report until a signal is restored.
Program has been amazing would recommend this product to anyone looking for an inspection software.
Sometimes can be costly If You Make A Mistake. This usually happens when your working with the report online.
But to me what is most helpful is knowing I can always get a response to ANY questions I may have from an extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Some of the areas / section can be a little difficult for a "laymen" to read through.
Deric S.: My name's Deric. I'm the owner and the VP of Marketing for Homestead Inspection Company. We've got five home inspectors full-time. I would give Inspection Support Network, a five-star rating. This is actually the only inspection software suite that we've used. We feel they really met all of our needs, and it's a very multifaceted software. One of the things we really like about them is we're not charged for our reports until we submit them or unless we're submitting them, so there's no monthly fee that really goes along with it. So in our slower times, we get charged a little bit less. In our busier times, it's fine to get charged a little bit more because you're making a little bit more money. The onboarding was pretty easy. Integration isn't too bad either. There's some website stuff that we need a little bit of help with just because we're not real tech-savvy, and they seem to do a really good job of working along with us in that. If you're thinking about Inspection Support network, I would really strongly advise to dive into all their training. There's lots of features and lots of options that they offer. If you don't dig into them, you'll miss them. So they have trainings, they have webinars. I would really look into all those videos and all the support they have.
