There are 3 levels of service/features/prices. We had a catastrophic failure of our previous practice management system and had to quickly choose software to meet our needs.
I have to say that TotalMD has been the best and easiest by far, who would have known that an affordable system would be the best. I started with the basic and just upgraded to the Avanced version.
My last program was discontinued and I was panicking because of my lack of knowledge of computers.

Each time there is an update we seem to run into error issues (example: RX printers do not work / fee schedules "lost"). After hours extended support availability.
I really like DocuTAP because it is so user friendly and efficient. It's nice when working with patients to be able to quickly and easily enter their information.
The only deficiency I can attest to is sometimes it can lag, but what computer doesn't at times.
I have been using DocuTap for 4 years now and love, love, love this software and company. Extremely innovative, friendly, and just NICE.
Sadly, transition and cost to migrate AGAIN after 18 months is difficult and discouraging.

The lack of value based metrics for quality reporting for Medicare and other models payers are attempting to move to. Along the same lines reporting was limited.
