Muck Rack vs PR Underground: Which is a better fit?

Muck Rack makes it much easier to find journalists based off what they cover and what their interests are. It's an easy way to save time and make sure your pitches are reaching the right people.

At this moment there is nothing in particular that I dislike.

The idea that it would be easy to use and easy to reach out to prospects who are looking for my specific type of content creation.

The other problem I have noticed is in exporting. Some times the tweets don't export you in the reports I create.

Muck Rack is beautifully designed with the user experience in mind. I've never found it so easy to search for topics, reporters and editors, and to build and manage media lists.

The only real complaint I have is that you can't fully customize coverage reports.

With so many reporters changing outlets and beats, Muck Rack seems to do a great job keeping track of everybody and giving you an accurate glimpse into what they are reporting on now, in real time.

I now spend less time searching for the right press contacts and I upset less people because I'm not pitching them stories they have no interest in.

Customer service is always super quick to respond when I've had issues or questions which I really appreciate. Overall, it is a great service for a great price point.

There seem to be slightly more topic restrictions for releases which can be frustrating for clients.

The best part is that the reach is so much better than we can do on our own. The software is easy to use and very intuitive.

It is costly and not all the medium or large businesses can be able to afford the prices.

Easy to use, reasonable price, good customer service when I needed help. Reached the specific demographics I wanted to reach.

The UI is ugly and outdated. The reporting is not robust at all.

Functionality and layout was good, ease of use and customer support were also helpful.

The process of distribution was a little difficult to learn at first.
