The amount of features was perfect for what we needed and the support was extremely responsive and helpful.
The customer service is horrible. You correspond via chat.
The customer service at Accelevents is superb. I have work with many systems/platforms and by far this is the best customer service and response time I have ever experienced.
He made a rude scoff about how someone might not have an email address. I explained to him that we serve the elderly and disabled population and that many of them may not have an email address.
It's great, the analysis tools and real-time reports allow me to track the success of my events in detail, improving decision making for future projects.
I'm moving on to another platform. I miss the days when customer service mattered.
The ability for guests to select their own seat or table location has been an even bigger plus than we first imagined. Customer service is also fantastic— immediately responsive.
The logo sizes are a bit difficult to nail down too.
I love the ease of scheduling meetings and intuitiveness. I have to share my screen a lot and I love the fact that I can share individual windows instead of doing the full screen every time.
We have multiple problems with the platform that have been plaguing us for months, and go figure - ZOOM customer service will not zoom with us to sort out the issues.
Overall, the product is really good and helped a lot for almost every party to have virtual meetings. Feel like it's better if we could get two versions like free edition & Zoom with premium features.
I think the only problem that I had at first was with the audio and that was because I was using it external source and found it a little confusing each time I logged on.
Overall Zoom is user friendly, easy to use and access, and has clear streaming ability. I love how smooth the video comes through.
When several of us are on at once, there can be severe buffering and lag. I am not sure that this is because of the internet service or because of the program.
If you have larger groups the pricing is pretty good. I like the virtual background feature which is very easy to use and it allows you to bring personality into your video feed.
There is often issues with freezing up or with sound kickback. Sometimes kids are kicked out or freeze for no reason.
Alicia: Hi, my name is Alicia. I'm a freelance marketing and event consultant. I work in the event industry and I give Accelevents a 5 out of 5. My event was moving from a live event to a virtual event, and so in researching the various options, we didn't as much love some of the other platforms such as Whova or Event Farm. They just did not have the functionality we were looking for as networking and connection were incredibly important to the event and its participants. When we discovered Accelevents, we realized that its functionality around video chat components, networking, the ease of use in terms of setting up our event within its platform, was going to be the obvious reasons why it was the best for our virtual event this year. When we started to use the Accelevents platform, we found it very easy to dive right in and start building our virtual event immediately. It has a very easy layout in terms of where you find different components, how to set up your event, how to build profiles, how to import speakers and sessions. We found it incredibly easy also to connect with the customer service team, they were immensely responsive, and if we needed a answer in a very, very rapid sort of sense, the online help section within the website is one of the best I have ever come across, and we found so much help between those two options. I don't think I realized just how easy Accelevents was going to be from start to finish, in terms of knowing that we could customize the platform, so, so easily between color palettes and graphic design elements, also just being able to jump on video chat functioning within the platform to understand it with one of the customer service reps was a huge, huge benefit. And ultimately day of our event, our attendees loved being able to interact with one another, whether that was via the virtual chat function, which as organizers also came incredibly in handy as we were offering different announcements throughout the day. But also just the incredible feedback about how our attendees still felt that they got just as much out of this virtual event as they did with previous live versions of this event was really, really exciting and also fantastic to know that we hit that goal, especially.
Chris: Hi. My name's Chris. I'm an instructional designer in a company that's about 12, 13 of us. We use Zoom all the time, and I rate it around a five. Before we started using Zoom back in the dark ages, I used Webex and Citrix I think it was, and it was just clunky and it was really hard to get the people at the other side of it to understand how it works. So the reason we use Zoom all the time is that it gives a really clear picture, but more than anything else, it's that it's easy for people to use and that's really important for us. We don't want to lose people because they can't figure out how to get on or get the picture, or ask a question to use the chat, and Zoom makes it all easy. So I think Zoom is winning the video war because it's so easy to use. It's easy for anybody to use whether they want to download the app or use it in their web browser. That's its main point as far as I'm concerned. So my recommendation is if you're going to have a go with Zoom with your team, you should get your team to all have a play with it before you get anybody outside of your business to do it. That way you can get used to the tools and the toolbox at the bottom and all the things that you can do within Zoom. Have a real strong play with it. That way when you've got your actual clients or whatever on the call, you look like pros.
