Sage Fixed Assets vs WorthIT Fixed Assets: Which is a better fit?

Overall this is a great tool for accounting of fixed assets for small to mid-sized companies with assets of 10,000 or fewer. It accomplishes all that is needed but keeps it basic.

In the past we have had issues related to problems with updating the software.

The detail available for assets is useful and the ability to add customized fields is great.

We have had trouble getting the reports we need.

I liked that it is more tax-friendly than what we have set up in SAP. The customer help is also fast and secure.

The customer service - it takes forever to reach someone. When there are updates there is always something wrong with some aspect and you have to wait until the next update is released.

Sage offers easy-to-use/read reports that are easily modified to a users preferences or needs. The software also provides a great solution for housing supporting documentation for each asset.

Reporting is very basic and hard to customize.

The customer support has been terrific. Rep has handled my questions efficiently and in a friendly manner.

Please note that we never had any kind of training on it. Therefore, it is hard for me to give higher mark since the way we use it is very restrictive and causes us grief.

It enables the users to capture enough information about our assets to effectively report on our asset base at any given time.

Not much, Initially it may seem intimidating to individuals without an accounting background but I have seen evidence within my own environment that this is quickly overcome.

What I like about the software is that it is user friendly.

The manual was difficult to follow. However, rep wrote an updated version which helped tremendously.

Easy to program the asset and I can check the process.
