OneCause vs Fluxx Grantmaker: Which is a better fit?

Not only does it have the best aesthetics and options for design, it's seamless in its reporting and analytics.

Using OneCause - as an administrator or end user - is unintuitive. The design is poor and users receive unintelligible error messages.

Their customer service was good and the training was also good. I would recommend to someone needing a robust system.

Customer support the day of event was difficult to get in touch with which caused much anxiety.

We loved that we could stream our virtual event from the registration page. The ease of use in adding auction items was excellent.

Somewhat expensive and the customer service is somewhat weird.

The best asset that OneCause has is the people that work there. Every question is quickly answered, and the phone support staff seems genuinely excited about helping.

The cost makes us stop and consider alternative products every once in a while.

It's elegant, powerful, and intuitive. The people (that work there) are really great too--nice, enthusiastic, and committed (and smart).

So after three days meeting and talking with these folks and hearing the good and bad (and being early adopters there was a lot of bad), I asked them all the same question.

The flexibility of the system and ability to tailor it to the organization's needs is amazing.

I had few complaints as staff user, but now that I am on the team that deals with Fluxx my largest complaints are with customer service and customer support.

The people who work there are nice, bright, hardworking, and incredibly committed to making Fluxx the best it can be and giving you the best experience they can.

There is no way to bulk import data on your own.

The ability to customize applications and reports as an admin user is great, and I like the independence of using the system without needing technical support from Fluxx.

It can be hard to sustain your energy and focus at this final hour of the project, but it's worth it, as any mistakes here will haunt you long afterward.
