DocketManager vs JobBOSS²: Which is a better fit?

The best part is the Customer service at Docket manager is fantastic working with me to help change the way my CSR's create Quotes and Work orders.

It has been a hard transition from Franklin Estimating to Docket Manager. With that said it was my ignorance of the pricing rather than any problem with DM.

Overall the experience with the product and the company has been positive. Customer service and support have been very responsive to my needs and have been easy and enjoyable to work with.

I re-watched videos as I figured that was what I was going to be encouraged to do if I called in with the problem. After giving up and calling in it ended up there was a problem with the programming.

Docket Manager and I have had a great relationship with attempting to improve the systems overall functionality. They have a really great support team and respond very quickly.

It bothers me that I have to click in boxes that are highlighted. Some boxes you don't have to click into others you do.

The pricing functions are robust and help develop stable prices across all estimators. The work order process helps keep the workflow moving.

I cannot speak to this 100%, but I do know that our accounting team has really struggled the most with Docket Manager.

This was a good opportunity for me to recommend to the owners that is was time to change. I wanted software that was more user friendly, menu driven so it would be easy to learn, and more flexible.

Unfortunately, we have a terrible material database with poorly named materials. We would like to replace the badly named materials with new materials that make more sense.

Overall E2 has been a huge improvement for us that has allowed us to increased our profitability, improve quality control metrics, and improve our customer satisfaction.

The product appears to have severe legacy issues in terms of database design, which leads to what should should be unnecessary calls to support in order to clear up "dirty data" issues.

We are very happy with the system, and our customers like it as well, especially when we can tell them when they can get parts and what kind of lead times to expect.

The updates of information changes between modules is slow and can be frustrating.

We have been very happy with Shoptech Software, for providing the data we wanted and for the ease of use and the support has been great.

My one compliant is the inability to delete old/obsolete data.
