Large companies have large / heterogeneous / cloud or on prem' information systems. Their mastery is complex, and it is difficult/impossible to keep them simple, or make them evolve, e.g. migrations
The online portal is excellent as well; there's a whole community ready and willing to assist and help you get better at using Alteryx. Very impressive software.
The limitation of some tools and the high barrier to developing new functionality.
Great assistance from Altyrex - committed resources at no cost to help implement, train etc. A lot of willingness to help us 'prove' the business case - i.e. make a success of the pilot project.
License is very costly which hinders the use of it by everyone.
The best thing about this product is its ease of use. It's so easy to pick up, and so versatile that anyone can benefit from it.
I dislike how it can be at time cumbersome when one creates complex workflows that take over an hour to load just once.
