MakeShift vs Rotageek: Which is a better fit?

We love working with MakeShift. The customer support is super helpful and incredibly responsive.

As of now, MakeShift will only give you a shift sync error if you unintentionally schedule a shift on a day with a PTO request.

Pretty good, feel it is better suited for businesses that have less variations week to week in terms of shifts and people scheduled though.

Too much draging and clicking, difficult to add positions.

Once I got used to it, which was pretty quickly, I was able to access my co-workers schedules with the greatest of ease.

I wish we could drag and drop schedules for several people at one time.

Easy to use, user friendly. Great way to be able to keep track of when your shifts are and if you want to switch shifts and orlick up.

It does not happen often but quite inconvenient if it goes down.

I have very little that I cannot praise this software on. The app is excellent and makes creating rotas, filling timesheets and authorisating absence very easy.

The mobile app often crashes which can be inconvenient due to then being unable to see when you start your shift.

It’s easy to use and has some fantastic features to ensure doing rotas is smoothly run. Commission reports are also super handy and easy to fill in daily.

It can be quite frustrating when you are having to redo work because of this.

Great service, amazing customer service team always ready to help. Easy to use and to play with.

It sometimes can be a bit laggy, and the leave system can be confusing to navigate at times.

Many features that allow for quick creation of rotas including some useful automation. App is user friendly and perfect for colleagues to check their rota and mark availability.

But aside from this, the worst thing is that it's sometimes a bit slow to get going.
