Any organization in which iOS, Android, fireOS, Windows Laptops, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS, visionOS and Apple TVs need to be managed and secured.
It is ideal to secure the use of iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Linux devices used by your employees, tablet-based interactive kiosks, mobile point of sale (mPOS) and digital signage.
The best thing about the product is their support; they are extremely helpful and very responsive. The pricing is also competitive, and the product is easy to use.
No boxes, no arrows, no links. I needed to get support and see that i only change the number.
Initially this software seemed like a seamless integration to our MDM needs on our Samsung devices. Price seemed good, feature-set seemed perfect.
The mobile app doesn't include as many features as the web version. Besides that, nothing else in particular is bad about Hexnode.
It is very easy to try out the solution and they have a very responsive and sales and support team. For the basic features we are looking for like Kiosk and application lock, it works like a charm.
Can get complicated to set up and it can be difficult to find out how to do the things you need it to do.
The support is awesome, issues are resolved very quickly. The android app continues to improve with new features added almost weekly.
The name Hexnode is not very catchy and it's sort of hard to remember.
Great support, the support team always very helpful to answer questions to help. I love the Dashboard, Enterprise, upgrading our APK's, looking at all of our devices, keeps it all locked down 100.
There is a lag in locking or unlocking remotely. There is no messaging when the dashboard is offline.
Great ability to lock down the device to a kiosk mode. Good company branding features to make it look great.
One of our distrustful clients tried to manage software distribution within team by this app. As soon as we built trust we needed no this app anymore.
The ability to control apps and monitor activity is feature-rich with reliable performance. And their support in both setup and ongoing usage is excellent, providing both chat and video conferencing.
Lack of customizations for the android system through mobilock (ie : theme change, ringtones). Most of our employee uses mobilock phone.
Each reponse is timely, friendly, and all matters have been resolved. Customer service was able to help our organization customize settings that fit our users' needs.
Unfortunately it's not possible to publish shortcuts to specific websites without whitelisting them and in turn block access to any websites not specifically whitelisted.
Gregg C.: My name is Gregg. I'm president and CEO of Murray Lampert Design, Build, Remodel, and I give Hexnode a five. In the past, we were using Ivanti, formerly MobileIron, and we were not getting great support. The platform was not very user-friendly. We had a lot of issues with setup. And so we just decided to move on to another option. I chose Hexnode based on the recommendation of our IT provider, and they helped us roll out the program, and we now have about 50 subscribers on it and it works great. Hexnode was a lot easier to roll out than MobileIron. It really was pretty straightforward, and we were up and running in a very short amount of time. My advice for those who are looking to add a MDM program for their mobile devices is do your research and look at the cost per user and look at the ease of implementation of the program and the support that comes with it.
