Frontify is a brand-building platform where a user-friendly DAM meets customized portals. Ideal for Enterprise companies who need consistency, ease of use, scalability, and customization.
For organizations looking to build scalable, flexible apps with powerful governance and administration.
The template function is amazing, saves us al lot of work and everyone in the company makes use of it. Also the costumer support is fantastic, really helpful and and quick response.
Our designers made quite some mistakes in the InDesign files in the beginning, which resulted in us having to update the templates regurarly.
Overall it is a good software for promoting branding and managing the different loco, based on our requirements we can customize it and I love it, very hassle-free software and easy to use it also.
I am missing the option to hide certain parts within a page and not just the entire page. I lack the ability to copy and paste parts I have designed and based on them in other places.
The interface is gorgeous. Super easy to use and find the assets you are looking for as a member of a marketing team who needs access any type of digital asset.
Their pricing structure based on usage it's quite difficult as it's quite difficult to justify sometimes the increase on costs.
It's a great tool to present all aspects of your brand and to guide everyone through your brand. It is also a great asset tool for your images/photography and videos, icons and documents.
It's a little bit tricky to see how that would work for us.
We love Airtable's outstanding automation and linking features. Automating repetitive tasks and connecting our data to other platforms has been a breeze, saving us a lot of manual work.
The only problem I have with this software is the terrible iOS applications. If I want to use it on my iPad I do no use the app but rather the web browser due to the lack of functionality.
I literally try to replace as many tools as I can with Airtable because it is so flexible. Using it as the core for client and customer reports is fun and feels like a stable solution.
It's usability is inhibited by the lack of design features. There is no way to upload your own icon for the bases.
This platform is amazing. I love how it combines the flexibility of a spreadsheet interface with great features like file attachments, kanban-style card stacks, calendars, and reporting functions.
Horrid frustrating disapointed in most everything.
Awesome, just awesome everything about the product is awesome, from the price to deployment to use.
The UI is still slightly complicated, and I had a lot of trouble finding documentation on linked fields.
Juan: Hi, I'm Juan. I'm brand strategy manager on a big multinational company with more than 10,000 employees, and my rating of Frontify is four. Before having the Frontify solution, our brand management was mostly based on PDF files that we will share throughout the organization. Frontify help us to have a single source of truth that was digital and it was searchable by all members of organization. We ensured that everyone has the same solution and everyone was on the same page while checking the brand guidelines. When we were reviewing other solutions to have this solve problem to our solution, we decided to choose Frontify because their solution was really user intuitive. As we understood that a lot of people from the organization with different levels of computer management were able to edit and add content. Frontify UI was really useful for us because it was really easy to make changes in the platform and seeing in the moment just live. The beginning of Frontify was quite hard at the beginning in terms of resource intensive, because we needed to migrate all our PDFs into Frontify platform. With the help of several members of our team, we were able to copy and paste all the content that we have from our previous brand guidelines on PDF into Frontify. The good news is that after doing all the migration, all the changes were just done in the moment. I will advise Frontify for all the big companies that has lot of people checking out constantly the brand guidelines, because it ensures a unique source of truth for all the brand guidelines applications. It's really easy. It's really easy to all the brand managers edit the brand guidelines and enter the platform, so you ensure that all the latest editions are there. In our case, we use really the brand guidelines part of Frontify with a lot of advancements in terms of time, editing, and ensuring that everyone is on the same page, applying the brand guidelines.
Onome D.: Hello, my name is Onome. I am an artist and facilitator. I am a solopreneur and I give Airtable four out of five stars. Prior to Airtable, I was using Google Drive as my content library, and I find Airtable to be better suited to the job. Well, it just so happened that I was able to receive a template for doing my content management system that made it easier for me to figure out how to organize my content in a fairly straightforward way. It was a bit of a learning curve, even with the template because I mean, there's so many options and so many customizations. So I'd say overall it's a pretty steep learning curve. In my case, having a template made a bit of an easier entry point for me. But even with that entry point, it was a little difficult to understand how to add new columns and customize the database. So I'd say it's a little bit of challenge. I would say that though Airtable has worked just fine for my purposes as a solopreneur, it's better suited to a team of people just because it has so many potential moving parts. And the way in which it is customizable, I think it would be better suited to a team of people, like a group of archivists or a group of social media content managers, that kind of thing. Those teams would be the ones that would best be served by a software like Airtable.
