PaySimple vs GoCardless: Which is a better fit?

There have been many helpful changes to PS over the past 2-3 yrs that have made the system better, more efficient, and more user friendly. The support staff has been a pleasure to work with.

I've been fighting with them to return our money and they simply are so inept at their own billing that they can't get our return processed. Horrible company, Horrible customer service.

And it is very simple to use and they have good customer care. And the graph system is very friendly it easily helps us to track our payments.

Terrible customer service. Unsure of mobile presence, they seem to have multiple apps for the same thing published.

Customer service is the best, all representatives I've spoken with are ready and willing to help me as fast as possible with positive attitudes and pleasant people.

14 mo later I called in June of 2014 to cancel any charges to my account because I simply never used their service.

Great service to use, and very user friendly. They also have great customer service if help is needed.

AND THAT is when PaySimple becomes a real pain. You see, because unlike other payment processors they will not release your customers credit card data to another payment processing firm.

Nice simple interface, cost effective, good integrations, good overview of clients in general. Easy to get clients to sign up.

The issue caused us a loss of over £22,0000. We brought the flaw to the attention of GoCardless who admitted the issue but have refused to compensate us or apologise for this serious error.

I have been using GoCardless for my business since 2012. When we first started using them they were a small start-up and we had remained loyal and supportive of them for over 7 years.

Absolutely terrible would never recommend them not even to my worst enemy.

GoCardless has been an amazing tool that makes payment processing smooth. It is accurate to use and reliable.

They've collected funds via my customer invoices. But are putting me through verification hell.

Excellent service and product, good pricing and makes accepting direct debits possible for smaller businesses that dont have the need to pay out to do it via other means.

They operate on a European business day, so that makes customer service a pain. Deciding on GoCardless was a huge mistake.
