TunnelBear for Teams is the perfect fit for small to medium sized businesses that rely on cloud-based tools for everyday communication and work.
A self-hosted VPN solution engineered for SMBs that provides secure access to your private business network, in the cloud or on-premise. Free to install and for up to 2 connected users.
The app is good for private and anonymous navigation, it's easy to use and the free option is useful for casual users like myself.
Ve lost connectivity to the vpn sometimes, but not enough for it to be a major problem for me.
It is a plain and simple VPN, it has great servers to connect to and the speeds are amazing. It also has one of the best user interfaces I have used.
What is dislike though and I hop is corrected is how slow it automatically connects back after it looses connection.
TunnelBear also offers a generous free plan with 500MB of data per month, which I found to be very helpful. The customer support team was also friendly and helpful in answering my questions.
Be reminded to stop the VPN connection after you've completed your task. I forgot to switch mines off and used the entire 500MB in error one month.
I loved its free version when I used it. It was perfect for downloading small files from strange servers... though I would recommend keeping your antivirus active if you plan to do the same.
Though you can access offers from different countries but you may not access it fully as sometimes there is problem loading images or text which you may not understand at all.
It's a complete, almost standard solution for IT techies and network admins who want a cost effective, secure, widely supported solution.
Not always easy to troubleshoot connection problems because error messages sometimes don't give a clue of what configuration setting is wrong.
Its stability, and the ease of use, is quite stable to the connection and what I liked most was the variety of countries.
It happens a lot for me that it fails to find the server and get connected. I'm not sure, but it might be because of many ports being blocked because of Internet censorship in Iran.
Our customers are happy because everyone likes a free product which is secure and is easy to implement (hence low labor costs).
I got a problem with connection path between my personal computer and the target server that I put OpenVPN.
It is very easy to use, its installation is fast and simple, excellent documentation and support of your community. The connection is very stable and it's open source.
It is a bit difficult for the moderate user to tweak the software and adjust all the necessary parameters.
Lilian: Hi guys, I am Lilian, a digital marketing executive. I've used TunnelBear and I'm still using it. I'll give it a five out of five star rating. And for more reviews like this, click the link below. We use TunnelBear ... me and my team, we use TunnelBear on a day to day basis for us to be able to access the internet, and for a secure and reliable browsing experience. So we then use TunnelBear. I love TunnelBear because it unblocks a lot of streaming channels like Netflix, and also the fact that we can send our information using a secure VPN. One thing that I don't like about TunnelBear is that in terms of the packages on the unlimited, it only has up to five devices that you can connect. I feel if you could only add more devices that you can connect.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Karambir. I'm CEN. I give OpenVPN a three, and for more reviews like this, you can click the link below. I was using a Windscribe before OpenVPN, which is okay. But I couldn't run it through my router. So OpenVPN I can use through my router. Windscribe, it was too complicated. I couldn't do it. I chose OpenVPN, because that was the only thing that my router's software supports. I'm using a wifi hotspot, and OpenVPN was the only choice, so I really didn't have any options other than that. So open VPN through my router is only at the command line, so it was really complicated to get started. I had to do a lot of legwork and internet searching on my own, and none of the players had any information really to provide on how to set up my router. So I did eventually get it to work, but I had to do all the work. It's really, really learning intensive in that regard. So if you're thinking of using OpenVPN in a similar setting, which is through your router at the command line, I would look to see, what are all the other options? Maybe even a different router and what's performance, because performance is seriously degraded through OpenVPN. The upside is the security of the connection. So it's a trade off, but I would look around to see all the options that are available when purchasing hardware as well.
