Overall, I love creating content with this site. If you have questions, they can help you and help you figure it out.
Their insensitivity to isolated cases where I actually needed them to cancel from their company side, instead if making a fooling me....and I still didn't know how to get my self cancelled.
Incredible customer service, drip content, beautiful platform, awesome reporting, great editing features, and a bunch of integrations.
They used to market unlimited, but that changed to under 4GB if I remember correctly and now they have a hard limit of 2GB. They made this change with NO NOTIFICATION to customers.
Personally I like the reliability of Teachable, it is very stable and seamless. I should say Teachable might be the most advanced LMS platform on the market.
The pricing of this program makes it lack feasibility for my school or classroom.
For starters, it is great that you can creaet a course and put it on Teachable for free to test drive the platform and see if it will be a good fit for you and your students.
Since teachable is a US based company, when you pay in GBP, they convert it into dollars, then in order to pay me, they convert those dollars back to GBP, which messes up your income.
I had no idea how to handle one of my client’s requests, but they kindly guided me to take care of this matter promptly. I am so grateful for Exly and their fantastic support.
Me and it’s a big trouble sometimes the tech features that the remove Watsapp link and so many other goof ups have happened in past because of the tech issues.
There were a lot of cool options for the template, and I enjoyed designing my site, rather than considering it a task to check off on my to-do list. Love the ease and style of the website.
I had no idea I could build a website, and had never attempted to, since it seemed overwhelming and way too expensive.
I really appreciate her prompt support as well as the team’s. Their support is exceptional: they encourage you, ease your feelings of feeling overwhelmed, and care about your success in your business.
Images have a fixed requirements. No option for vertical images.
I love the support you have from the Exly staff and their genuine desire to see you succeed.
Making changes without checking with me. Asking feedback’s for classes which are not yet held created a lot of confusion, payment issues mostly technical part really is a turn off.
Amy: Hello, my name is Amy, and I am an executive director. I give Teachable four out of five stars, and for more reviews, click below. Before I started using Teachable, I was using LearnDash. LearnDash is a plugin for WordPress, so it's not a standalone piece of software. You have to have WordPress installed in order to use it, and it was very clunky. The interface was not intuitive, and I only used it for a short period of time before I realized that I need another solution. And Teachable was easy to get started with, and their interface was much more intuitive and smooth, and it was faster to implement. I first chose Teachable because they had a really amazing onboarding process. They had a whole webinar series and training that walks you through how to set up your courses using their platform, which I went through and was really valuable. In addition to that, when I logged into the actual software, it was very clean. It was very simple to set up. Even though it had a lot of functionality once you got deeper into the product, at first, it was very streamlined and there weren't a lot of things to do to get started. Teachable was really easy to get started with. Not only that, but I work with other teachers and I lead them through the process of delivering their courses on Teachable. So, not only was it easy for me to get started, but it was really easy for me to walk other people through the process of inserting their content into Teachable. So, it is drag and drop and it is very fast and simple, and that's part of what I loved about it. If you are considering starting with Teachable and you are teaching for fun, or teaching a topic that is not a formal training product, or not a formal training that you're moving people through, I would encourage you to use Teachable because it's easy for someone just coming off the street. We ended up changing from Teachable to another product, mainly because we operate a certification program, so there is a lot of things that are great about Teachable for the beginner, but once you start to have more complex assessments for your students and deliver a certification product that meets other standards, Teachable can kind of fall short in the resources that it offers. So, I think it's still an excellent product, especially if you are teaching something that is fun, that is not on the professional level, but teaching a group of amateurs how to accomplish something.
