We have been using Moosend for the last 18 months, and we are impressed with their friendly customer support an excellent inbox placement rate. We highly recommend them.
Overall I was extremely disappointed as they do not specify what industries they do not support. I ended up wasting time with them.
The great team behind it, with fantastic support & excellent vision. The overall tone of the software: friendly, fun & simple, despite being very flexible & powerful.
If there are any negative reviews, ignore them. Just try them out for yourself, if you have an agency, switch one of your clients or something to test it out and you'll see for yourself.
The reporting structure is awesome. I recommend this for anyone who wants to use this platform for a promoting their business.
But the worst of all - it appears that Moosend has reputation issues with anything related to Yahoo!, Aol and Verizon.
I love all the automations it provides and the customer support which is helpful when you need help for setting a campaign.
Working on Moosend on the move is a little difficult. We have to have a laptop to work on it.
Lists of contact are easy to maintain, and emails are easy to create, send, and then track the results to tweak campaigns for best conversions. Our account manager has always been great.
Other email softwares charged by the email and number of recipients, iContact charged a subscription fee, so it made it more costly.
I'm very happy with all the great templates and designs. The navigation has also improved a great deal.
No one to speak with, low deliverability, inferior tech when compared to other competitors with the same price point.
My experience had been very positive. Customer Support, when needed, is very responsive and helpful.
At the time I was using it I was not able to embed videos into the email campaigns which was frustrating.
I enjoy its ease of use and the ability to use graphics to add interest to our newsletter. The Dashboard is a wonderful tool.
Pricing was primarily our main issue, it became costly when we only sent one email per month.
Regis: Hi, I'm Regis. I'm Chief Product Officer and I give a five star rating at Moosend. If you want more reviews like this, just click below. I work in a early stage startup. And so it was not something where we switched from another software. We really needed our first email marketing tool. I have considered the classic player, typically SendGrid, also Sendinblue. I was looking for something where I can go as fast as possible using a free plan so that's why I went with Moosend. I chose Moosend because of the value you can get about their free plan. It's actually pretty crazy and nothing you can compare with the other player where you can go with up to 1000 subscribers. So it means you can have in your mailing list up to 1000 subscribers, which is more than enough at a early stage for early stage company like us. And yeah, so that was the first one. The second one was really the ease of setup. Very quickly when I started to play with it, I realized that everything was pretty intuitive. So that's the two reasons why I chose Moosend to start and continue to use them. It was easy. It was easy creating the mailing list, creating the template, provide a lot of flexibility. And it's really something you can do quick. Maybe one advice I could give you is that as for all those email marketing provider, you need to do some work on your DNS in order to make sure that the deliverability of your emails are good. So there is a bit of set up to do on the DNS. Just make sure that you take a couple of days to do that before you start to send your actual campaign. I think again, the value of the free plan is you need to give a try with Moosend. Something also that I was looking for is very professional support. And I've seen in other reviews that they were good for that. And that was good, yeah, I can really testimony on this one. Their support is very good. One advice is to work on the setup/DNS. So if you're not like super tech, or if you don't necessarily have all the information, you might want to get some help from someone in your company that is maybe a bit more technical. But that's pretty important because that's going to allow you to have good deliverability of your email to make sure that your first email does not fall into the spam folders. So a bit of work on this one, and again, don't ever forget to call their support or chat with their support. They are very good.
Mary G.: Hi, my name's Mary. I'm a Director of Education. I am giving a five star review for iContact and for more details, click below. Our past product was Mailchimp and it just wasn't customizable enough for what we needed. It didn't give us as many options to change the layout, or make columns, or individualize the emails as much as we really wanted for our brand. We chose iContact primarily because of how customizable it is. You have the option to change, not only fonts and colors, but the actual layout of the emails. You can make columns, you can put in blocks and dividers, and it's very customizable to match your brand. The other reason we chose it was we were looking for a platform that would have minimal junk pickup, I guess I would call it. Our members from some of our platforms we have tried in the past, our emails ended up in junk automatically, just because they were coming from that brand and iContact seems to have a better reputation with the junk sorters in emails. iContact was super are easy to get started with. Implementation was a breeze. We didn't even need their customer support to get going, really. It's very user intuitive. Non-designers can make emails look beautiful in iContact and uploading a member list is literally at a of a button. I highly recommend pursuing iContact. I haven't found a single fault with their program. It's user-friendly. It makes beautiful emails and honestly the price point is pretty fair as well.
