We work with any business or organisation that wishes to communicate using screens such as small businesses, enterprise, startups, retail, hospitality, places of worship, education, etc.
Businesses that are after an affordable, easily scalable, easy-to-use, plug-and-play, all-in-one digital signage solution.
The overall experience has been great. They are straight forward and honest with pricing, the sales team are friendly and professional.
Some apps require additional subscriptions/payment. No room for mistakes, if you add a screen (iPhone or iPad)by mistake or as a test Or demo, you will be invoiced immediately.
We have been with them for a few years and have watched them progress with updates. We like the service and appreciate their help when we have issues.
Creating a schedule is difficult. I thought during the trial there was an hourly schedule where you could drag and drop playlists.
The ease of use and the interface of the management software. It's super simple and they have a great knowledge base to help you find answers to common (and not so common) questions.
This is made more for a very small business operating 1-5 screens with no need for deep options.
I like how easy it is to use the system. You can customize each screen and change the layout to fit what works best for your setting.
ScreenCloud is lacking depth in the user options and file permissions field, there are no analytics, and doesn't work well on the Android platform.
Once we started building campaigns customer support was responsive and informative. We also particularly like that Yodeck is supported on RaspberryPi devices making our rollout simple and affordable.
Occasionally we get messages about the Yodeck losing connection, but that is likely due more to the Raspberry Pi than the software.
The ease of implementation, ability to turn our displays on and off according to a schedule, and to schedule a wide variety of different content for different screens have been excellent for us.
Probably made some changes on schedules area. In some cases it may be misleading (at least with my experience).
You are able to display awesome menus, directions and sale items. This is same technologies used by major companies and best of all you can maintain your screens from the anywhere.
Sometimes getting the alignment of various media on the screen is frustrating and there are times that what is on your screen is not pushed onto the display in the exact same manner.
The customer support is great. The monitor has been active every day and their system even alerts me for any inconsistencies when a monitor is offline more than usual, which was awesome.
The initial set up was a little confusing - linking the playlist to the layout didn't feel intiuitive.
Ari M.: Hi, my name's Ari. I'm director of Web Services for Lionel Trains. I've been working with ScreenCloud for a number of years now, and I would rate it a solid five. Some years ago, my company opened a brick-and-mortar store and wanted to include video screens as part of the decor. We were looking for a solution that would allow us to have custom and low-maintenance ability to offer that sort of media and content, and ScreenCloud was the solution. As an IT person, I'm often looking for ways that I'm able to handle the management, or hand off the management, of a tool to the actual people who use it. The UI on ScreenCloud and its capacity to do everything that they would want to do allows them to manage their own feeds without me having to be a bottleneck. Getting started with ScreenCloud couldn't have been easier. I downloaded apps onto Fire Sticks that I use on the local television, was able to pair them up with our service, and the setup and creation of playlists and schedules just couldn't be easier. If these are your needs, ScreenCloud is an excellent tool. It provides a vast array of opportunities for marketing and messaging, whether it's, in our case, in a retail store or in our corporate office where we're just passing on things like local corporate news and birthdays and anniversaries, as well as our local weather and local news. The service could not be easier. For me as an IT professional, it was very much a set-it-and-forget-it.
Allen V.: My name's Allen. I'm a pastor at Reach Church in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. I'm the only staff member on, we have lots of volunteers working with us as well, and I would give Yodeck five stars because I love it. Before selecting Yodeck, I did as much research as I could on Raspberry Pi-based business displays and informational displays. I didn't end up going with any of them, because Yodeck seemed the best, and I have not regretted that decision for one second. I chose Yodeck right now, as we are very small. It gave a very low bar for entry. We purchased our own Raspberry Pi. I set that up myself. You can purchase that through them, but I did it myself, and for one monitor, there's no cost, and so it allowed us to get in and to see how it worked before committing to the future with them. It was extremely simple, and it was extremely streamlined. It was very easy and quick to do. I found it incredibly easy to set up. Now, I had some experience working with Raspberry Pi already, but if you purchase it from them, it's just plug and play. So a setup is extremely easy, and the web portal to change what your displays show and when is incredibly simple. It's some of the more simple stuff I've seen out there. Well, my recommendation would be to use it. It's exceptional. It's easy to use. It has never gone down on us. They have never had their servers down. It's easy to set up. It's simple to manage and operate, whether you're just a single monitor for free, which there's no better price than that, or whether you scale up and use multiple monitors. Just incredibly simple, easy to use, no fuss, and no extra burden. In fact, it takes the burden away.
