All that was left unclear was resolved in one session after the first one in few minutes. Just love a learning curve like this.
Nothing stands out as being a negative, except the company website used to display all pricing tiers, but that has now been relegated to 'contact us for details. I think that immediacy is missing now.
Logic behind animation and design tools is great and saves A LOT of time. Also importing design elements from my computer gave me the freedom i needed to create a quality product.
As a vendor of books/technical manuals, we were worried about working long-term after all of the set-up was complete. And we'd been burnt in the past with other systems.
I appreciate how much thought has gone into making such an capable product. We use ED books daily as an editor/admin and absolutely love it.
The app submitting process was a bit of a struggle as we have never done it before.

And complex enough to do great stuff when you are more comfortable with the software. It is reliable and solid.
It has a hard learning curve and has limited features that require you to go to another app.

That said, the learning curve for can be steep for someone who has no experience with design products, particularly those of the Adobe Suite.
Used InDesign for many years, both before and after the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription platform. An excellent program, always improving.
The expense and Adobe's inability to play nice with operating systems has always been a pain, and an expensive one.
Simon: Hi, I'm Simon. I am a Director of Technology. Today, I'm giving Adobe InDesign five out of five stars. Click below for more reviews. So with Adobe InDesign, there are a lot of problems that I'm able to solve by utilizing this application. For instance, our school utilizes the application to create desktop newsletters. So these go out to our families, and I use Adobe's InDesign to create these newsletters. So it does a good job of making it easy for me to put together all the text and graphics in one place, and make it look good for the families once we send it out. So it's really easy to use Adobe InDesign. You don't have to have a lot of advanced desktop publishing skills. Really, you just have to have a niche for creating online materials or hard copy materials, such as newspapers and newsletters. And as long as you have an interest in that, it's pretty easy to get on top of all the different tools that Adobe InDesign has to offer. So there aren't many things I'd change about Adobe InDesign, but one thing would be the layout of the tool bars in the desktop publishing view. There's a lot of tools to use, and if they were a little more easier to find, I think that would help make my job a little bit easier. And it would make my job that much faster to get that product out to our families.
