The community for NopCommerce is amazing. It is the perfect platform to build off of and allows you to customize almost Anything.
It has issues on large-scale application. It has a stressful and painful upgrade process that takes time.
Nopcommerce is a very powerful program that has really elevated our business. Love the open source nature of the software and the ability to expand with plugins.
Need required framework that is very annoying process.
The platform has powerful features that are scale to handle large format or multi brand store. The Solution is Free to use and the NOP community is very strong in helping each other.
If the default theme doesn't serve its purpose, you may find it difficult to handle nopcomerce. It's hard to customize it if you don't have the right knowledge.
It has a great and amazing ROI due to it's free nature. It's very reliable for start-up eCommerce businesses.
No never we dont own servers at all they are expensive and we are just indiviual developers working as freelancers mostly, do rethink about your pricing plans.
I highly recommend using it for your online business. It is very good to start our own store at an affordable price.
If it's not in their store you probably are going to have to build it out yourself. They also don't integrate with Sift Science anymore (of you're worried about fraud) and various other vendors.
Conversion rates improved 50% after deployment. Site speed is phenomenal, the dashboards are great, uptime is great, and access to the app catalog cuts development time down to a matter of days.
Shopify pulled us out of on-line store hell. We started with a custom-built site that never worked.
Very intuitive and easy to use. Customer service is great and the apps for the platform are awesome as well.
The most negative factor is how often it has issues, it may be due to their server but it seems to have been happening often lately.
The platform is great for the growth of businesses, it is straightforward to use with an excellent user interface.
There are many obvious and simple optimizations that they are hesitant to implement because it will cost them money and anger software developers who rely on the income.
Speaker 1: Yes, my name is John. I'm a director at Crumblebee Books, and I give Shopify Plus a four out of five stars. So, before using Shopify Plus, we were using Square, and we also had our own website, but we were having problems integrating our e-commerce with our website without having lots of other people work on that. So, Shopify Plus brought those two worlds together, so it's one unified integration that we were able to use, and it was a game changer for the business. We chose Shopify Plus because we do a lot of social media, and being able to actually sell books and things directly through our posts, that was the game changer, because now we're able to just integrate everything we do, not only online, through social media and point of sale. Shopify Plus, it took a little bit of a learning curve, because I had to learn how to set it up myself first, and then I was able to teach other people that we work with how to use it. Yeah, I had to watch some videos. They provided some learning modules online. That really helped a lot. I think early on I became overwhelmed by just how many options there were, so it was a process of setting up each different venue that we were using. So, it took a little while, but now it's really simple to keep going. I think you really need to know what your goals are before using Shopify Plus, just because there are so many different options that you have. It's really knowing your business well before you start. I think we learned along the way of the different aspects that we wanted to be able to use with Shopify Plus, but I think it would've helped if we had sat down first and really thought about what our goals were, and it would've made the process much easier and quicker to online.
