Internal IT departments and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
We serve IT and security teams of any size providing access to enterprise grade patching, software deployment, and configuration control through a centralized cloud console.
Very fair pricing and simple to set up. The real-time updates in the GUI are impressive and there looks to be some rapid and useful development underway.
The Remote Desktop feature is missing the option for file transfers and chat but both are on the roadmap for future updates. The agent is currently only available for Windows.
AWESOME support and very quick to help. The cost is amazing!!! The tool is easy to deploy and very easy to maintain.
I also was limited to one login for an administrator at first but that was opened up recently to more than one.
Once I added our domain, the computers started showing up in the dashboard immediately. It has an excellent suite of tool that helps the IT department save time.
I think some of the information can be hard to find, or you have to drill down. For example finding if a machine has low disk space.
There's a clear and comprehensive development roadmap and the up to 100 devices for free model is amazing - incredibly useful for small businesses and/or trialling the system.
No native Chat Client to communicate with the user.
Easy to navigate and use. Also has the ability to provide easy to read reports to present to higher ups to show them that patching your software is important and Automox was worth the purchase.
It is basically set it and forget it, just pay attention to your failures and remediate as needed (very few require more than a "retry").
Good logging functions for troueshooting. Good dashboards to see the full picture of infrastructure healthy.
Also, I dislike that fact that I have to create a policy to make mass computers perform an action. There is no "select and execute" feature.
Powerful worklets predefined and the ability to create your own is awesome. An amazing community and very helpful staff as well.
Inability to tell if a user is logged in to a target machine.
Worklets feature is extreme useful for running scripts against your assets. This saved me big time with rolling out upgrades of AV software that were not exactly Big Sur ready.
There's no way to do bandwidth capping for downloads. There doesn't seem to be any uninstall prevention.
