Huge thumbs-us for the helping and responsive staff, from the sales process to the project managers. We liked the fact that it's back end is user friendly.
We feel that there were misunderstandings on the capabilities of the software and it created a problem the day of (which caused a mad scramble on our end to fix).
He showed a vested interest in our success and genuinely cared about project. Our three events have gone extremely events and we received great feedback from participants and senior leadership.
Sessions did not start on time, wrong versions of session videos were played, users were unable to access chat rooms, exhibitor booths weren't working.
Customer service was super responsive and helpful, as well as a pleasure to work with, despite a sizable time-zone difference. Our questions and any issues were taken care of quickly and completely.
Also the training we had for speakers was to fast and confusing and left our speakers stressed so I had to do my own training to calm their minds.
Always patient and flexible. We had wonderful customer service from the techs during the actual event who were great with our presenters.
There's no process to ensure that you get what you paid for. The lesson I learned from this experience: Expect to be abandoned on the day of the event.
I like the ease of registration, the ability to communicate with other attendees, the opportunity to return to the recording later in the game, the sense of community.
Now add to it that if I purchase pre and post show activities, I get multiple emails for each of those. It's ridiculous the SPAM your system sends out.
Easy onboarding, quick to invite and build an event agenda, very fun to use and host team socials, celebrations, conferences on it.
I'm not aware if this is a fault of the software, but during the Women in Quantum in Africa event, there were times when speaker's audio and video was very poor and not able to follow.
It is very simple to use. It looks great and I love the ability to go back and watch the replay.
There have been some hiccups with connection and broadcast - but unclear what the source of this is.
The platform was relatively easy to navigate and engage with people on the event I was on. Seemed to be a good way to set up "speed dating" like experience virtually.
There was no way to filter who met who, consequently I was matched with other members of my team, vs. potential customers.
Iris G.: Hi, I'm Iris. I'm the founder and CEO, and my rating for Run The World is four. For more reviews like this, click below. I use Run The World for hosting events and meeting other people and allowing people to network within the company, and also for people, coworkers, to social with each other. I like most about Run The World that they have connection feature, and you can see your connection later. And you're also allowed to host local events at different using a similar format. And they also can do circles where you are matched to different people for networking reasons, and that's very convenient for just socializing. So what I don't like about Run The World is that I hope the people that are connected with Run The World can also be directly connected to my LinkedIn instead of me having to search for their names after the event, and then connect with them on LinkedIn. So if there's some kind of integration between LinkedIn and Run The World, and when I send a connection on Run The World, it also sends a connection to LinkedIn, I think that would be much easier.
