Brands and retailers or distributors managing over 100 products and/or selling on more than one channel. Plytix is the only PIM especially designed and priced for small to medium businesses.
Paperturn is the "go-to" software used by marketers, designers and business owners across all industries worldwide to create, share, analyse & monetize their marketing and corporate content online!
Great overall experience, was offered a lot of help with the set up of Plytix and great customer service help with anything afterwards.
Can't tag my colleagues in tasks, as to allocating traslations or infos added. It is a pity because it is a collaborative tool.
It is organized and very user friendly. Customer service is top notch, always friendly and willing to help out.
The disadvantage is that it is a Saas solution and there is not always the option of customizing.
Every time I have had any issues they have been quickly resolved and I have had calls with multiple different employees who have been efficient, friendly and kind.
When browsing all products, the thumbnail view of images are too small. When selecting what items to put in the catalog, you can select the entire page but the page is limited to 100 items.
The best feature is that it is a complete web-based (SAAS) solution and a great support department.
Once I'm finished working in one form, it takes many clicks to get to the next form. There is no "next" button, so I have to return to my master list to find my next form.
The quality of the digital product is superb. Love the easy use, and great interactive links.
The inability to retrieve statistics which may be erased in error.
Our company loves how easy this software is to use and our customers love to flip through our ebook as well as our services catalog. It looks professional and helps sell our products and services.
In my past carriers, I have used similar products on the market, and was unhappy.
As a not-for-profit it’s important to us to find cost efficiencies wherever possible. We have found this platform to be simple and reliable with great communication and a high quality presentation.
We find difficult to set up the CNAME. It is frustrating even though we have some decent knowledge of the technical side of things.
We also love that we can share fun videos of our products in use. And we keep an eye on our statistics to find out what products are the most popular, and where we can improve.
The compression on images can be a little tough sometimes.
Steve: Hi, my name's Steve. I'm a marketing manager at a men's footwear brand in the UK. We are a very small organization with only around six employees in-house, and I'm doing a five-star review for Plytix. Before using Plytix, we had previously used ChannelAdvisor, which had quite a decent PIM functionality, but it was overall very expensive platform of us that we wouldn't really see the benefit for, because we weren't doing a whole lot of marketplace platforms. And then other than that, we were using Excel spreadsheets, and our own ERP system, which can convey a little bit of data, but it was very siloed kind of data in different platforms that I might to bring together to work on product. The reason we chose Plytix for the company was, I think initially, we needed something to speed up the workflow of uploading products to the website, and also creating... Different customers needed different the data in different ways, and we needed really one platform that could kind of manipulate the data in various ways without us having to constantly go over the same spreadsheets and the same data again. The alternatives that I'd seen before on the PIM front were incredibly expensive, more kind of enterprise solutions. It didn't work for a company of our size, so when Plytix came around, it seemed to tick all the boxes for me and was a much more manageable monthly cost. Plytix was incredibly easy to onboard into the company. There was mainly myself doing the training and couple of other support staff, but Plytix own staff would train you online, were friendly and very helpful. But it's a very intuitive platform, very easy to use after a bit of experience I had, like I said, with previous PIMs. I kind of knew the basics, but everything was very, very quick to learn with Plytix. My recommendations to anyone looking to try Plytix would be to get everyone in the team that's involved in product data or websites together for the initial training calls, because they're very helpful. And if anyone has any sort of questions like halfway through, you want Plytix to answer it directly rather than come to you at later stage. I think you really get the most out of it, then, when they can see who the members of your team are, whether you're working on it solely, or you can incorporate workflows for other team members. They'll straight away know the best things to recommend for you. But really, I think it's a no-brainer for us with the cost it was, the amount of flexibility it provides, it's just worth a try.
Speaker 1: My name's Ilana and my title is Director of Fundraising and Special Events. The company I work for has about 50 employees and I would give Paperturn a rating of four. Before Paperturn, we used PDFs just as a flip book. So instead of flipping, we would just have people scroll down. Primarily our journal for our gala and also sponsorship deck information, but we never had an actual flip book. We chose Paperturn because it not only offered a nonprofit discount, but it was extremely user-friendly to upload or take down anything that we put in there as well as any customization that we needed for the flip book itself and the link share and whatnot was extremely user-friendly for us. It was extremely easy to get an account. Probably just took a couple minutes, and once our graphic designer finished designing the flip book that we were working on, it took a matter of just a couple minutes to upload and be able to share that out to our database. So extremely easy. I would say don't be afraid to use it. I think that it was very helpful for us, especially in a digital world when you're sharing all these things with people. It just allows everyone kind of a one-stop link to what you're looking for, what you're trying to share. We also did have QR codes to send people to the flip book as well, which was super helpful. So just be open to using it. It's a great program and software.
