I have only been using extole for almost a year after being transferred and I worked with two amazing CSMs who have been helping me navigate around and share insights regarding our program.
Integration was a huge headache and extremely frustrating.
The onboarding experience along with the cutover to our new website both went smoothly, so thank you to Extole for being a wonderful partner and helping us meet our sales/business goals.
The lack of a completely separate staging environment.
Fantastic patience working with our procurement, legal, and IT security to get the paper signed. Fantastic support to implement the product between multiple cross functional teams.
Reports could be more intuitive. Lingo used is sometimes confusing.
We love how their support team continues to suggest ways to improve conversions and they have been willing to A/B test new ideas to make sure we are going with the best option.
As there is no integration yet with our CRM systems, some tasks that we need to do know are redundant. But after the full integration this will change.
They have been a great company to work with. We've been with them for years now, and as a startup, they've been reliable and helpful in our business.
It was a painful campaign that we were then committed to and had to spend our time doing our own digests of the entrants because their “fraud” alert was BS.
Both individuals demonstrated a helpful and pleasant demeanor, making the communication process more bearable. Their positive attitude and willingness to assist were notable aspects of my experience.
Disappointing Experience with Viral Loops: Unmet Promises and Frustrating Service.
So I moved to viral loops and its amazing. I am daily with customer support - learning a platform, and they are very helpful.
There is no possibility to create your own templates. No integration with other social networks and messengers (vk.com, ok.ru, telegram and viber).
Easy to use and works great. I love that you can customize the fields and design.
For adding it on a landing page was somehow difficult for me.
Taylor M.: Hi, my name's Taylor. I'm the Vice President of Operations for a small business, and my review for Viral Loops is a three out of five. We wanted to roll out our first referral program, and we discovered Viral Loops through reviewing online reviews and searching the web for the best solution available on the market. We did a couple of demos with other providers, but the Viral Loops platform appeared to have the most user-friendly interface, so we chose them in the end. We chose Viral Loops because their user interface for our team appeared to be really easy to integrate, really easy to roll out without further support required. We felt like we could do it ourselves without having to pay for a premium onboarding service, and they did appear during the demo to have a really easy-to-use payment mechanism. So one of the challenges with referral programs is obviously how you pay out people who successfully achieve the milestones to earn rewards, and we believe that they had integrations with a platform that would be really easy for us to stand up without our engineering team getting involved. Getting set up with Viral Loops was unfortunately not as easy as they let on during the demos. We had numerous exchanges back and forth with the gentleman who originally did the demo with us, and we really struggled to get the platform to look the way we wanted it to. Ultimately, they ended up trying to sell us an add-on where we had to use their team for a fee to try and build the platform to be like what they had demonstrated to us. For anyone considering Viral Loops, I would suggest that you do your due diligence, make sure that you have engineering or technical support on standby to help with the onboarding process, and that you pay for the more premium service with Viral Loops, because the basic do-it-yourself service we found was really hard to use. The user experience for both us and for customers was going to be very awkward and kind of clunky. So you need to have technical support, which we unfortunately didn't have the budget for to roll out something successful with Viral Loops.
