Sideline is a cloud-based business phone system designed for entrepreneurs, remote workers, and more.
Businesses of any size who want to better connect with their customers.
I love that Sideline works just like my regular cell phone number. It's easy to use and you can text too, which is a plus.
The messages that get from SIDELINE are confusing me with perceived missed calls and or messages from prospective clients.
What I like most about Sideline is the ability to have an alternate phone number right on my current mobile device that I use strictly for my business.
I bought a new phone and had to transfer my app. I was unable to sign in, had multiple errors.
I liked having two lines while carrying one cellphone. I liked it being anonymous to the party I was making business with.
But right now, there is a major problem - Sideline signed me out of my app. I didn't know it, I received no notice of it.
I like how I can customize so many features. Everything from voicemail greetings, to text message signatures.
My business number is with sideline so we need to stay, but the issues with the app and customer service make it an awful experience.
The overall experience was wonderful. I had a great salesman and a great implementation specialist.
The phone system was with a lot of technical problems. Auto attendant not working, CRM not working, SMS not working.
We have been nothing but happy with our Nextiva service. They have provided a complete VoIP solution with every option we wanted, and then some, at an amazing price.
I spent days asking to fix things but each time more problem and more things did not work. We were running in circles with the problems.
I love the ease of use and the ability to have crystal clear calls. It makes the experience that much bettter.
Service is spotty, Calls get dropped, Phones disconnect from service, Voice Packets get lost. Forever ongoing contract auto-renewals without notifications to the client.
The system's reliability is outstanding, with minimal downtime, ensuring that we can always stay connected with our clients and team members.
We didn't even let users know they could login--it's that bad. The cost of their service just cannot compete with the rest of the market.
Ross A: Hi, I'm Ross. I'm the owner of the business. I give Sideline a five out of five. If you want to get more reviews like this, click the link below. Before Sideline, I was using my landline through Comcast, and I switched to Sideline because it had way more features. It was one eighth of the price and I was also able to have it... answer remotely through my cell phone anytime I needed it. I didn't have to just be tied to the spot. I chose Sideline because it had all of the features I was looking for, call waiting, forward to voicemail, text to voicemail. I could manage the greetings, I could have different times for when I was in class versus when the school was closed. It just gave me all the features that I had in my previous, plus about 10 more, without it costing anything extra. Setting Sideline up was very easy. It was basically just plugging in my phone number. They did most of the setup on the back end. I had to go in and record my greetings and set up my text, my auto text messages. Sideline has been great. I've been using it for about four years now. In the entire four years, I've only had maybe one or two dropped calls, and that was probably more of a network thing than them. The program works flawlessly. It's very inexpensive. It has lots and lots of features. I couldn't recommend them enough. I have been approached by multiple other platforms, and checking them out they don't come close to the features and the pricing.
Sully: Hi, my name's Sully and my rating for Nextiva is a three. We're a web development company with seven people worldwide, four in the US. We used Nextiva up until about a year ago when we moved offices, and the new office required a different telephone company, but we were using them for VoIP services. The pricing was competitive with every major carrier, so I did like that. Nextiva's interface, and I believe that they have updated it since, but at the time, was very, very clunky and difficult to do. I really needed their support in setting up our auto attendance and hunt groups, and it was not possible, for instance, to manage the busy lamp fields on the phones at all with their system, you had to use the manufacturer's interface, and really the support for that interface wasn't very good. Like I said, I understand about a month and a half after I left that they switched that interface, I haven't seen the new one, but if it's anything like the old one, the old one was awful.
