I liked the tentacles concept that will be useful to push the changes to more than one area/customer. It works really great to implement CI/CD when working with TeamCity to build your software.
They don't have a US version even when they tell you that they do- they will take your money but never refund it. They will string you along - its a scam.
Has a lot of functionality that I'm still exploring - ability to run from the cloud and to schedule extractions. From what I gather, the customer support is pretty strong and responsive.
Did not say anywhere that it was saving the tasks to their servers, so that's why probably has trouble with large tasks.
But you can make it more robust and edit it in the advanced mode. It should definitively help me to gain a lot of time... and money (as far as I'm able to set up the APIs.
So crawling the data was impossible, the system will stopped before finished the entire data crawling.

There are some features that might be hard to understand how to use if you do not have a basic understanding of coding.
One of the best analytics tools in the market and very user friendly. I particularly loved the flexibility and availability of a variety of model selections.
Really difficult to use, difficult to navigate, and GUI needs to be updated as well as the product documentation.
The software is amazing that it can produce such advanced models with a very simple user interface. The benefits I saw was more accurate forecasts in a quarter of the time to set up models.
It's a pain to transfer between programs when I've done everything else in SAS to produce the graphics elsewhere. Also, data management in SAS is notoriously underwhelming.
It has an amazing simple to use user interface,compares different models and gives you the best working model within the set data parameters.
It is very very expensive and difficult to obtain, especially for a student. Probably so even for a small company.
The most amazing thing about the software is the graphic design and the speed of processing. Moreover it allows us to change the data whenever we want to instead of rewriting the data.
It's not always clear where one should go when something goes wrong. Making changes to processes that others have made, and didn't document properly, can be a real cause of consternation.
Stephen H.: Hi. I'm Stephen. I'm the founder of Savvy Spender. I've been using Octoparse for a couple of years, and I rate it five out of five. I'd investigated a number of different companies. Brightwater Data was one of the examples, and compared to Octoparse, what they were quoting was much higher for the same capabilities. I'd also used developers to create Python-based scrapers, and they had to be updated on a regular basis. So a lot of that is the reason why Octoparse, I guess, was the solution that was right for me. Octoparse, it's easy to use if you're not a technical person. So it's easy to update the scrapers, it gives a good level of functionality, it allows you to scrape data from sites. It allows you to truncate the data, edit it or amend it, and send it to backend databases in a pretty seamless easy-to-use fashion. I also found that Octoparse's customer service team are very helpful and responsive. And overall, their pricing is great value for what you get, in my opinion. Octoparse is easy to integrate. Once you get a basic level of understanding, it's easy to use and connect with other tools. You can use Zapier, as an example, to connect Octoparse with a multitude of different tools and platforms. I'd say always look out and assess what options are there, what's best for you. But if you're like me and you have limited technical abilities, then I would definitely recommend Octoparse.
