Price Optimization vs Wheelhouse: Which is a better fit?

Austin S. : Hi, my name's Austin. I am a real estate property manager and I gave Wheelhouse a five out of five. Before using Wheelhouse, I was using Airbnb smart pricing feature, and I found that it wasn't all that smart. As I looked at other options, when I was looking at Wheelhouse, I looked at PriceLabs and Beyond Pricing, and ultimately ended up going with Wheelhouse and I've been very happy. The reason why I chose Wheelhouse is because I really liked that it integrated with... The pricing was dynamic, not only by just looking at Airbnb listings, but also by taking hotels, how booked they are, what their rates are, local events in the area. I thought that they had a unique blend, and I really liked the other features that they offered, things like a minimum stay, a dynamic minimum stay, where if there were a three night opening, it would allow me to do three nights, but if there were two night opening, it would only allow two nights. They had different features that I think that really added a lot of value. As far as integration goes, it was super straightforward. Essentially, I just linked my Airbnb account, and at that point I could have been done, but I chose to go into the settings and fine-tune the details a little bit more. I still go in and check every once in a while, but it was initially about 30 minutes is all. It's been great. If you're considering Wheelhouse, some recommendations I would have, things that I just looked at, A, I was concerned over the percentage of my bookings being taken by Wheelhouse. Now, fast forward, we've made significantly more money, had way more bookings than we ever would've had. I would not trip up over whatever that percentage is. Also, another thing to really consider is, if you are more heavily booked on VRBO than Airbnb, Wheelhouse is probably not the platform for you at its current stage, because they only integrate with Airbnb. Whereas, other platforms, like Beyond Pricing, has built out a VRBO integration. However, I found that Wheelhouse still, because I am more Airbnb heavy, Wheelhouse seems to have a little bit better algorithm and dynamic pricing, and so that's why I continue to stay with them.
