The ability to provide reviews in app and establish approval flows is awesome. Additionally, the template design is robust and allows you to quickly form a project plan.
Notifications or follow up requests can get lost after read and can be difficult to find.
The software is really easy to use - and very friendly to the eyes and mind. I love using the Gantt-chart option when setting up projects, to keep a nice overview of the status of a project.
That renders HIVE e-mail integration about useless if you get a lot of e-mails with attachments. For me Hive is a no go for that reason.
Great reporting facility. High fives are a great way to show appreciation to your colleagues.
Also, i have noticed that when people send images on chats or groups they never load, so i have to close the software down and reload it to be able to see them, which is a pain.
Hive has been a great help managing sales orders, manufacturing processes, quality inspections right down to shipments.
The chat constantly messed up and either didn't show messages or just didn't notify me.
It's been super helpful to keep myself focused and devote the time I should each week to each project.
For me, the only downsides have occurred after user error. If you forget to start or stop the timer, it's rather difficult to edit your time within the app.
Clockify has been a great tool added to our toolbox for Customer Success. Being able to have an immediate overview with dashboards and reporting helps me lead my team effectively.
I didn't use it then, but when our time tracking software turned into a frustrating mess of lost time entries, slow loading, and mis-calculated weekly times, I gave it a shot.
Easy access, good fast performance to install and use, giving a good advantage to the user and the company.
The times of lost hours are gone. I have a clear overview and know with a couple of clicks how much time I spend on each project and even know what my client has to be charged.
Clockify is affordable, simple to set up, and straightforward to use. It has several fantastic reports that you can customize to be as detailed as you'd like.
We create web software for a living, and we were so confused by much of the reporting that we couldn't determine what accurate numbers would be.
Nate: My name is Nate. I am the senior content strategy manager at my workplace. I work in the education industry, and I would give Hive a rating of five. We use Hive day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. It's a integral part of our overall office's project management. It is where all the projects live and are created and managed on timelines. We also utilize the chat features to coordinate with each other especially in a remote and virtual environment like it is now. We really lean on Hive to both stay on task and to connect and make sure everything is running smoothly. The thing I love most about Hive is the chat integration. Some other companies will leverage things like integrating into Slack and things like that. But Hive has its own embedded chat function within the platform. It's been super helpful to have all of our chats both in there and have people feel like they're a little bit more accessible and easy to reach through the chat function. We can do individual chats, group chats, multiple layers of group chats. It makes it really easy to stay on top of different groups, different projects, and be able to message back and forth in a more minute by minute response. The thing I dislike about Hive, it is a relatively newer tool. There is a lot of optimization efforts that are going in. Because of that, there have been bugs when new updates roll out. Nothing that has significantly impacted our workflows, but there has been times where the app or the platform itself will be down for a little bit of time. But usually the developers are working pretty hard to have that back up and running. It's all in light of optimizing and making a better product. Just kind of the growing pains of becoming a more larger player in that overall project management system and software. But something that we are definitely okay living with as long as they keep optimizing.
Speaker 1: Hello, my name is Diego I'm the CEO at Denta AI, and my five star rating for Clockify if five out of five. Okay, so at Denta AI, we do consultancy. We are quite straight out in terms of partnerships, so we have to keep track of the time allocation of each one of our partners, and also inside the organization, so we need a tool that allows us to keep track of our time dedication, and also, it's the basis for our billing and budgeting to our end clients. So what we love about Clockify is extreme ease of use. It's very, very streamlined in terms of keeping track of which task are you being working on and which task or project you have been devoting your time to. You can do it several ways, and so some people just do it at the end of the day and they just keep track of the time devoted to each task, and maybe copy paste from the day before and modify. Or you can do it online and you can make the computer clock it directly, or even you can let the app monitor your use of the computer and then add up the time to each task. You can do that at the client project or task level, which is very convenient. So what I see as small room for improvement is there are three levels you can keep track of your time. Those are client, project, and task, and sometimes you might get a bit misled or mixed up between the three levels. So maybe the app could do something in terms of clarifying or providing default behaviors for the things you most usually are repeating.
