Limnu's target market is people who need to communicate visually online: outsourcing, remote teams, telecommuters, satellite campuses, e-learning, & the guy who's at home & can't make today's scrum.
Teams of any size looking for a digital collaboration solution.
It's very easy and seamless to use limnu like a whiteboard, with minimal wrangling of the user interface. In particular, finding room to continue writing is extremely easy.
Sorry I can not come up with any disadvantage. Honestly, I am but a user (not owning shares or such).
I am able to draw straight lines so my students can see a decimal model for tenths and hundredths. I like the multiple color choices and clarity of the color.
Sometimes it is necessary when online teaching and it is hard to just stop and start another Zoom conference to share something on my computer.
I love the engagement possibilities. My students are able to actively learn with this product.
I found the erasing feature difficult to use. I either had eraser times.
I found the software very easy to use. It is very user friendly.
It's very unfortunate that I need to use an entirely separate program, and was almost enough for me to not use Limnu.
I was happy to be able to recommend this software to them. Jamboard is great for taking notes and presenting concepts in an easy to understand and visually appealing way.
I can't think of anything that I really dislike about it.
Jamboard is great for brainstorming with teammates during virtual meetings. It has been a great solution for us since we have all been working from home during the pandemic.
It could be a glitch or technical error, perhaps.
The simplicity and ease of use of the software is nice and really does feel like the nearest thing to a old style blackboard/whiteboard.
I tried to share an idea, and sadly my pulse is not the better, so finally my poor draw took the lead rol in the meeting.
I like the various creative approaches that can be taken to make learning more engaging and creative.
SOMETIMES IT TENDS TO BE SLOW. BUT IT DOENS'T BOTHER THAT MUCH.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Grant, I run Inspired Financial Planners, I give Jamboard a four out of five. Before I started using Jamboard, I basically just used either Paint or Microsoft Word, or more than that, it was probably just my Surface Pro whiteboard app. I chose Jamboard because it's really customizable and really easy. I already used the Google Suite in its entirety, so being able to just use something that's already part of that, just made a whole lot of sense. Considering Jamboard is already part of the Google Suite, it's really easy to set up. It's basically just a whiteboard with all your drag and drop features. It's not complicated at all. If you're familiar with anything Google and you're able to share things like a Google Doc or a Google Sheet, it's all basically the same kind of format. Jamboard is great if you need it to integrate with your other Google products like Google Docs, Google Sheets. If you want to take something from your whiteboard and put it in and be able to basically have it linked, really, really good for that. If you need something that's really simple and easy to use in terms of dragging and dropping to create a visual with your whiteboard, Jamboard can be really good. The only thing is, it is not overly customizable, and your drag and drop, you really have to get it in the right spot. There's nothing kind of aligning stuff, which means it can be a little finicky to be able to use, but in terms of being able to share with other Google users or integrate with the other Google products, it's really good on that side.
