Fantastic device, reliable, always cheerful, and a delight to use. Efficiently helps visitors with reaching the person they come to see.
The only real negative is that our kiosk is in a vestibule - unless we choose an upgrade and factor in future configuration costs, we cannot unlock our doors to let the visitor in.
We are fairly new but we are really enjoying our Alice Receptionist. It is a great alternitive to having someone greet our guests and gives a WOW factor when someone walks in to our office.
No updates or new functionallity in years. Needs heavy CPU and GPU to be used, which forces you to buy expensive hardware and limited hardware possibilites.
The ALICE team was very good in helping us reduce some of this, also suggesting an improved microphone which we installed.
Constantly have to check the system is working, high purchase cost, ongoing licence costs and extra costs for purchasing more licenses, customer support is very poor and system is full of bugs.
The setup was super easy and the directory is simple and clean.
That being said, it may very well be because we are using ZOOM phone service, but there is an audible delay between the client and the person answering the ALICE phone.

Mend tech team wonderful at making changes as we request them and finding solutions for alternate workflows. Great implementation process.
Also, often if you do something wrong or that the system doesn't accept, there's no prompt as to HOW to fix it. Just shows an error and leaves you to figure out what you need to change.
I also love the messaging feature and ability to call a client if they are not showing up it helps save time finding a chart and calling the client so we can connect as soon as possible.
Its very difficult to sometimes our patients do not receive the link, that's always a problem.
Mend has been easy for providers and patients to use, making healthcare more accessible, and the service we've received from Mend leadership has been exceptional. We're very happy with our experience.
A little frustrating, especially if someone makes a last minute video visit and we have to stop what were doing to add them into mend real fast before their appointment start time.

I use Mend on a daily basis to schedule virtual care patients with therapists. I like how Mend is user-friendly and it's very organized, so it's easy to see the other therapist schedules versus who's available and who's not. Sometimes I don't like about Mend is the loading of the scheduling. You have to click more, which is not user-friendly sometimes.
