Fast, love the untended client price is awesome, I love how we can have as many unattended clients as we need to, your site is always fast.
No Mac users, no mobile support. No way to block the users input (I was talking about no more fighting but.. maybe sometimes is better to block the other side customer).
I needed a replacement for LogMeIn and Rescue because of the price increases that they kept pushing through. I looked at other options and decided that FixMe was powerful and a great value.
The only thing I dislike about this software is that it is only available for Windows.
The ease of use and the speed of connectivity is great. Love the unattended remote control as well as the customization for self branding.
All the usual end user problems right down to data recovery on-line.
What I like the most is that it has two applications, a client version and an expert version. The video quality when sharing the screen is very stable.
Not Mac, linux and mobile support. Some firewalls block due log in.
Been using it for 3 or 4 use, still using it, recommended to my collegues and they using it, so the cost is good, the easy of use is good.
When I got to know this software I did not have many expectations due to the bad experiences I had had with other similar software.
A very good experience, both in the use of the remote control and the attention received by the technical support. An excellent program that I recommend to all my clients.
I have not been able to configure the proxy so that it can be accessed from a private network, but it may be my configuration problem and not the software itself.
It is reliable and secure and can be accessed only on the permission of the person at other side. Its powerful data transfer protocol helps to connect remote PCs without any configuration.
Unfortunately, the performance is very poor compared to competing products. The video is jerky, inputs have a clear latency.
It is powerful, easy to use, with great options such as calendar, administration, etc. It is a great choice at a good price.
Does not have 2FA Auth, what is needed to give garanties that no one could access computers without permission if some ATO happens.
Lisa W.: My name is Lisa, I'm Vice President of Technology at a company that's about 150 employees in size, and on a scale of one to five I rate FixMe.IT a five. FixMe.IT was actually the first product that our company selected. We picked this product back in 2015, so it has been many years that we've been using this. We have a structure to our company where we have a home office, and then we have several remote locations, and the people that are using the PCs are basically not computer-literate to the most extent, so there is a lot of technical support involved and I had no way to help these people, outside of just talking on the phone and asking them to click buttons and, "What do you see on your screen?" So this was actually the first product that we selected eight years ago. FixMe.IT solved many of our problems that we were having. We needed to be able to control desktops and it needed to be a very easy solution for the end user. In a lot of cases, well, in many of the cases, sometimes even just getting to the internet was a concern or a problem for them. So walking them through the process to get connected to the home office was a task that this product easily solved because of how quick and easy the program is to work with. FixMe.IT has a very short timeframe that you can get up and running, it's just a matter of setting up an account with them. And then for the person who will be controlling the desktop, you need to install an administration tool. So you need to have that on your PC before you connect to someone else's PC. But basically that's all it is, you need to download a program, log in, and then ask a user to download a little program, give you a number, and then you can work with their PC. One of the features that I like best about this program is that the user just has a very short website that they need to go to to connect. Given that, well, the actual website that they go to is called FixMe.IT, but given that I will tell you that in some cases it confuses people, because a lot of people are used to putting in a .com. So when you're working with someone that doesn't necessarily work with computers all the time, trying to get them to the website the first time around might be a little bit of a challenge. Beyond that, though, I think this program covers all the needs that we had in terms of connecting to computers fast and being able to see what the user is seeing.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
