Designed for businesses of all sizes, Later is a visual social marketing platform that helps manage and grow their social media.
Everybody who has an Instagram account, and is interested in getting more followers.
Super happy with the product and the familiarity helps comfort levels with taking control of social media accounts for marketing and customer satisfaction.
Have found that there are glitches - sometimes there's been an error uploading a post. Needs close monitoring which can be a pain.
Great for scheduling, reporting, and their newsletter is seriously the best. They're always so current with the trends that you're going to get the best opportunities.
So the post went out immediately instead of later. Worse, I hadn't added hashtags (major oversight) and couldn't edit the text.
Later has many great features but the best feature is definitely the preview ability. It allows me to visually arrange my Instagram feeds.
The only bad part about Later is that you can't post multiple photos to Instagram in one post, but that is not later's fault. It is Instagram's fault for not allowing third party integrations.
It’s been great for Instagram especially— the visual planner is a big help. All the guides a d tips they offer are great, too.
We have simply stopped using this tool for scheduling Facebook content because it's useless to our business without the page tagging capability.
It is easy to use and it helps you increase your popularity and the number of followers besides having a price that goes according to the features that it offers.
The main thing I dislike about this app is the face that you are limited to where you can attach website links.
I like the ability to have actual legitimate followers that are not faux, and do not just take up space. These are actual followers and likes that you have.
Sometimes it is hard to keep my profile private, whrn tagged people often have a way if seeing my page and information. There is also lots of inappropriate photos and profiles who ask to add me.
I like the user friendly part of it, it's very easy to use and there's many features that can help capture great moments of photos.
Sometimes it is hard to keep my profile private when I am tagged in peoples photos, they often have a way of seeing my page and information.
Of the few good things that I saw, is that it is fast, easy to understand and with a nice interface.
In here anyone can see your profile if you forget to make it privet. And anyone can follow your profile and also see your profile photo directly.
Nia: Hi. I'm Nia. I am a CEO of a marketing and advertising firm specializing in social media, and I give Later a four. When thinking about choosing Later, I was previously using Planoly and also Planable, and the interfaces of them were great. They were very aesthetically pleasing. But when thinking about an app, I wanted to go with something that was highly recommended by Instagram itself, had good API and the ones that I was considering at the time were not considered priority in that regard. And they were a little bit clunky, even though they did have a good aesthetic, and eventually settling on another platform after using Later that also fit that bill, but was a little bit more all-inclusive, was Metricool. So the reasons that I chose Later was that Instagram highly recommended it. And when you're working with Instagram, you want to choose a program that Instagram likes. I also chose Later because it worked really well with a lot of influencers. They had a lot of good UGC content, so I was able to see what the platform looked like ahead of time. And also I chose Later because their payment system, their pricing levels felt adequate and it felt like it would be a good price point for me at that point in my business. It was very easy for me to get started in Later. I have previously used other programs similar to Later, and this was me choosing one that I felt like would work the best therefore, it did take some transferring over from Planoly for some of my clients, making sure that the content that we'd already created was inputted easily. And also making sure that the spots where we could set up pre-customizations and just like buttons to click for each post and settings that I wanted for each post making sure that those were set up, were relatively easy. Everything was just simple and well laid out. I think the only thing that I struggled with occasionally was getting the photos to show up appropriately or to upload correctly, but that wasn't really an onboarding issue that just was a use issue. So when it comes to using Later for your business, I highly recommend making sure that if you're a social media manager and you have multiple clients, making sure that you know what your clients need, what tools, and then also making sure that you know what your business goals are and how that product will help you reach those goals. For me, with Later, I wanted something that would help me easily integrate with Instagram, would let me schedule posts that would schedule easily to business and professional accounts, and therefore, that was part of why I chose Later. Towards the end of using Later the reason why I chose other programs eventually was because I had so many clients that I outgrew the program, not the program, the software. So making sure that you know where you're in your business, what your goals are and how to reach them is really important when choosing a social media platform.
