We have turned down software like this in the past thinking that we would not benefit from it, but now that we actually have it and use it, we feel that it is well worth the cost.
We had some trouble with the original trackers we got because of the network they were on.
Accuracy of the trackers is excellent. The IFTA reports are perfect, relieving drivers of the task during the day which helps them be more alert to the road.
About three weeks later one of our trucks that did not have the GPS Tracking System installed on it was stolen out of our corporation yard.
The speeding reports are also very helpful as safety is always our top priority and they are a tremendous help in that regards.
Haven't found anything yet that I have disliked about the software.
I like that I have the ability to see where all of my company vehicles are. I also like the ability to track milage, services, and vehicle dashboard messages.
You may want to let them know to avoid telling involving the customer when there are internal conflicts.
It has been a fabulous company to work with. Super responsive and able to customize our needs.
Also sue to bar coded serial numbers on our battery containers being scanned I can track where any of our battery containers have come from in the event of a problem.
The ability to upload routes and data from spreadsheet is excellent and (while we haven't used it), using an API to build in with other systems is very helpful also.
GPS history on vehicles is missing. Group deliveries and organizing with which comes first and second and etc. is missing.
Both systems work seamlessly together and have provided me with a very good overall experience. When I do need any help with setup or queries, I have found Detrack support to be excellent every time.
Method of data entry, app is bloated with too many "confirmations", "live" tracking is off, nothing gets sorted by date or by time so drivers are always confused.
Very easy to use by administration and drivers, helps to keep our deliveries organized with real-time delivery information. Has excellent data import and job search capabilities.
Collection is a secondary feature as compared to Delivery. Makes things confusing sometimes.
